Chandler’s is a locally-owned, upscale dinner house specializing in prime steaks and jet-fresh seafood located in Hotel 43 in beautiful downtown Boise. Enjoy a craft cocktail, including the famous Ten Minute Martini, or a glass from our award-winning wine list. Featuring live jazz every night and complimentary valet parking. Chandlers is the recipient of the DiRona award which recognizes distinguished restaurants of North America and is the Treasure Valley's only Forbes Travel Guide Recommended Restaurant. The wine list features over 700 selections and 30 wines by the glass, and we have been recognized by Wine Spectator for our wine list every year, including four consecutive years earning the Best Award of Excellence.
***Construction Update***
Road work has resumed, restricting access to Chandlers from Grove and 10th. We will continue to provide complimentary valet service, accessible via 10th from Front St. The Parking Garage will remain open if you prefer to self park.

Chandler's has been my favorite and first choice for upscale, special occasion, and date night events for many years. I have never been disappointed in any aspect of service, food, or beverage until this reservation. I love that Chandler's has always done "very, very rare" and "blue" steak perfectly. This visit our waiter explained that blue/very, very rare preparation would be impossible as all of their steaks are dry aged; followed by a long explanation that I tuned out.Then he backtracked and stated i could get my steak "very rare." It was all confusing, and I wanted to focus on my guests, so I just ordered the meat. It came out medium rare, full of fat, charred black on the outside, and disgusting. I left it on the plate 1/4 eaten. I didn't make a big deal then because I did not wish to cause my guests discomfort. My husband's Mahi Mahi was unremarkable. Other guests did not comment on their food; not a good sign in this group. The server was condescending and appeared somewhat irritated with us the entire night. Then, rather than asking if we wanted our check divided, he brought out the bill in its entirety and gave it to me as "the reservation is in your name." I then had the uncomfortable task of telling him it needed to be divided while everyone was staring at us. This is not at all what I expected from this landmark. I'm embarrassed I suggested this to my friends colleagues as a place where we could go for an elegant night. I assured them "the price is worth it because the service and food is pretty perfect." Not this time. Frankly, I don't know if there will be a next as I'm so upset after this reservation.

Had a great anniversary meal with my wife and everything was great, the food was excellent, and the service was top notch. Got a complimentary chocolate souffle for our anniversary on top. Only thig was it took a little bit to get the food but nothing outrageous. Definitely worth the drive and price.

Every experience at Chandler’s is top notch all around. Our servers, Zach and Noah (in training) were fantastic, knowledgeable about the cocktails, wine and food and there when we needed anything the whole evening. We had a group of 5, shared a mix of appetizers and sides with entrees. We were seated near the live music, but it did not overpower our conversation and was a quite elegant, lovely setting. We will keep coming back!
