Chandler’s is a locally-owned, upscale dinner house specializing in prime steaks and jet-fresh seafood located in Hotel 43 in beautiful downtown Boise. Enjoy a craft cocktail, including the famous Ten Minute Martini, or a glass from our award-winning wine list. Featuring live jazz every night and complimentary valet parking. Chandlers is the recipient of the DiRona award which recognizes distinguished restaurants of North America and is the Treasure Valley's only Forbes Travel Guide Recommended Restaurant. The wine list features over 700 selections and 30 wines by the glass, and we have been recognized by Wine Spectator for our wine list every year, including four consecutive years earning the Best Award of Excellence.
***Construction Update***
Road work has resumed, restricting access to Chandlers from Grove and 10th. We will continue to provide complimentary valet service, accessible via 10th from Front St. The Parking Garage will remain open if you prefer to self park.

Asked for medium rare steak. Mostly well done. Baked potato was not hot. Told us the manager would come over. Never did. Chandlers there is a lot of completion in Boise. You’ve moved to the bottom of the list for not making this right last night. Shame on you!

Our service was very disappointing. We were there celebrating a birthday and our server was very inattentive to our party. It was almost an hour before we we finally flagged someone down to get an appetizer going, as we were very hungry. The food was good, but I likely won’t be back, as the whole experience was not worth what we paid.

I thought chandlers is a top tier steakhouse and one of the best in Boise. My personal opinion it is overpriced and the quality of the food is very low. Me and my wife are hard to please and went to chandlers for her birthday, chandlers wouldn’t ever be on our list. Not sure how it has 5 stars seems like they cut every corner to profit on their food it’s like eating chilis or apple bees just another chain for $225 for 2 people. Filet doesn’t even melt in your mouth. I asked for medium it was rare. My wife asked for medium well and it was well done. Service was great and so was the environment with the live music. They also cook your steak in vegetable oil which is ridiculous when you’re paying $70 for a “high end steak”.

We had another great Wedding Anniversary evening. Bryce, our server, made excellent menu suggestions and was well versed in the entire menu and specials. Jordon was very attentive to clearing our table and refreshing our beverages. We started with the special Dungeness Crab Cocktail and the seasonal Butternut Squash Soup with toasted pepitas. The soup was amazingly seasoned, and the cocktail sauce was very fresh and an excellent accent to the Dungeness Crab. I had the 45-day dry aged NY Strip A Moelle with th 10oz Australian Lobster Tail, excellently prepared and presented. Karen had the fresh catch (24 hours boat to table) Mahi Mahi on coconut rice. The fish was very fresh tasting and the seasoning excellent. We finished with the Classic Chocolate Souffle and coffee. What a great evening. 👌
