Char is a Southern-style modern steakhouse offering USDA Prime and Choice cuts of meat, fresh seafood, home-style sides to share, weekday lunch specials, classic cocktails and an extensive wine and bourbon selection.     Our waitress, TK, was amazing. She went above and beyond to help us make decisions and was very courteous. Chat has a beautiful atmosphere.

    I have been a regular customer for some time. The food is good. Service is good. Currently they had some specials in addition to the regular menu. This included creme brûlée which I really like.

    The prime rib used to be so tender. Now, not so much. Full of gristle(not just marbling) the crab cakes are always delicious!

    Char is always a great experience. The bar has a great bourbon selection and the food is top notch. One of the best spots in town for a special night out.

    The strip steak was done a perfect medium rare with an excellent crust. Great ambiance, not quite as intimate as some other higher end restaurants in Huntsville but the value is outstanding, generous portions. My wife is not a big fan of seafood but she absolutely devoured the crab cakes. Will definitely be a place we hit more regularly for date nights etc.
