Char is a Southern-style modern steakhouse offering USDA Prime and Choice cuts of meat, fresh seafood, home-style sides to share, weekday lunch specials, classic cocktails and an extensive wine and bourbon selection.     Char is always a great experience. The bar has a great bourbon selection and the food is top notch. One of the best spots in town for a special night out.

    The strip steak was done a perfect medium rare with an excellent crust. Great ambiance, not quite as intimate as some other higher end restaurants in Huntsville but the value is outstanding, generous portions. My wife is not a big fan of seafood but she absolutely devoured the crab cakes. Will definitely be a place we hit more regularly for date nights etc.

    We got seated at our reservation time, very busy place which makes sense because the food is great, our server was outstanding!
