Sat down at 6:20, waiter didn’t take our order till 7:30 and we had flag down someone else for that! When we were done, it took 35 mins to get our check. No water refills, no wine refills, really disappointing service at a place that typically has great service. :-(

The salads are a must. Never had one so flavorfully put together! We enjoyed our dinner and our server was sweet, prompt and attentive.

Food was very average and service was about the same. Salads came out before our appetizers then our food came out 2 minutes after the appetizers. My son’s medium rare steak was well done but no outside sear. Must have baked it or it was prepared prior to our order? Sent it back and second time was medium rare but again not outside sear. It’s called the CharBar? Might be a good place for drinks and to watch a game but that’s all I’d go back for. Very disappointing

Best chip and dip appetizer and homemade honey mustard. Love the make your own salad option. This is one of our fav restaurants!

All was some amazing and Taylor was super awesome.. my only complaint was.. when we sat down … we waited to be greeted for about 10 min.( Well it felt like 10 min) The wait wasn’t the issue.. it was while we were waiting. Me personally.. felt a little ignored.. and a little uncomfortable.. seeing that we were seated by the kitchen.. there were several servers passing by back and forth.. and didn’t acknowledge us. Just felt a little uncomfortable.. BUT THEN.. Taylor came and greeted us and she was AMAZING!!! Thank you Taylor .. we will back because of you!!

This was my first visit to Char Bar No. 7. My friend and I were seated at a high top table in the bar area. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered a ribeye, medium rare, with the field greens salad and tater tots. My friend ordered a filet, medium, with a caesar salad and broccoli. Both steaks were very good and cooked as ordered. The sides were freshly prepared and hot, and the salads were fresh and crisp. There's a short list of wines by the glass, mostly California selections. My friend asked a question about the white wines but the server informed us that she was underage so she could serve the wine but hadn't tried any of it. However, she brought my friend a sample of the one she asked about so she could decide. The restaurant was out of my first choice but the second was available and a good substitute. I will definitely visit this restaurant again. The menu prices are very reasonable, the dining room was pleasant and comfortable, and the service was good. This would be a good choice for a casual date night or friends' night out.
