Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 500 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     Food was great as usual. I had the porterhouse medium well for me, my wife had her usual filet mignon with chef special its was shrimp I think tiger shrimp if I recall called in a good sauce. Was very good. Don’t know how long that special be available. We both share the garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. I also had my favorite appetizer or starter was Lobster Bisque that is delicious and the best around. The waitress Kiara was great she checked on us and talked to us. Also our other waiter from other times saw us and came by just to say hello Tony didn’t think he remember us. Even though he waited on us couple of times before but he sees sooo many.

    I always order the grass fed bison. Always perfect, every time. I have a lot of dietary intolerances due to a serious recent illness. Charley’s is one of the very few restaurants I can safely eat at. They are always very accommodating. I appreciate that they use tallow instead of nasty seed oils. Everyone, managers, waiters, valets: all outstanding.

    If you’re looking for the ultimate steakhouse experience, Charley’s is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance, impeccable service, and mouthwatering aromas set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu boasts an impressive selection of prime cuts, all expertly aged and grilled to perfection. I ordered the 24oz dry aged Porterhouse , and it was hands-down one of the best steaks I’ve ever had—juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly to my preference. Two in my group both had the 28oz dry aged ribeye and was just as impressive, melt-in-your-mouth tender with a perfect sear. Beyond the steak, the sides and appetizers were just as memorable. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and rich, while the grilled asparagus had the perfect balance of char and seasoning. The appetizers of escargots were perfect, while the calamari was a little bit of a disappointment, as the batter was dry and over cooked. The service was top-tier—our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. Though we didn’t have wine with our meals, the wine list was extensive, with perfect pairings for every cut of steaks recommended by Michael. A must try is the Spicy Margarita! To top it all off, the house-made key lime pie and Grand Marnier chocolate cake was a perfect way to end the meal—light, creamy, and full of flavor. Charley’s is a true five-star dining experience that exceeds expectations in every way. If you appreciate high-quality steak, a refined atmosphere, and top-notch service, this is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

    We have always enjoyed our dinners at Charlie’s and go there to celebrate special occasions. They usually have a card on the table, add a little extra appetizer and acknowledge what we are celebrating. That did not happen last night. Food was also served out of order. We got our salad before the appetizer and the main meal also came out before we were done with the appetizer. We ordered one of the salads to go and that came out with the salad and sat on the seat until we left. There are a lot of restaurants like Charlie’s Steakhouse in Orlando and we will take our celebrations to one of them in the future.

    A classic steak house experience with warm and helpful staff and exceptional food. Every aspect of our time at the restaurant was a true pleasure. Salads were huge and tasty. cheese bread delicious. the steaks cooked to perfection and the sides were well prepared. we look forward to our next visit.

    Richard was very attentive and described the menu with ease. Go for the cauliflower it is amazing!!!! Shrimp cocktail also delicious! The Steak was very good (personally I’m not a smoke person but my husband enjoyed his) The temp was perfectly prepared. The cognac sauce was just so so.

    Our waitress did a fabulous job of explaining the various cuts of steaks and very thoroughly explaining the menu. We would highly recommend her.

    Another awesome night at Charley’s . We were welcomed by Jennifer and served by Orlando . The blue crab martini was fabulous as was the Jimmys dipping sauce .The steak was perfectly cooked and very flavoursome . Perfect timing for service .
