Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     I love Charlie’s and have been coming here for the better part of 20 years. The issue I had this time and last time is the steaks are not properly cooked to the right temperature. Both visits I my entire table ordered medium filets and the edge are perfect but the inside is rare. The entire party of four had the same issue. For the price of our meal the steaks should be cooked correctly. This was never the case previously which makes me sad as the flavor is second to none. Please if the touch method is not working use a temp probe. I really enjoy coming here and don’t want to change where I go.

    Great service. If you want meat, you can get meat. But they also serve lobster, shrimp and fish. Salad dressing needs improvement. Creamed corn is excellent. Cab for pinot noir lovers was surprisingly good.

    My husband and I went for dinner. We just wanted to eat great food and great service. We received it from the moment we entered. Tiara and Theresa greeted us with so much love. Our server, John, was taking care of us. We enjoyed our evening with the surf and turf what a treat it was. From the meatball to the desert, we absolutely was full. It was a great evening. Thank you, everyone, for making our dinner special. Thanks, Charley's team.

    Chose Charley’s for my boyfriend’s 65th bday because he had very fond memories of dining there, and wanted his bday dinner there while we visited Orlando, where he once lived. The service by ANGEL was second to none! He was, kind, attentive, extremely knowledgeable of offerings and hospitable….5 stars for him! Unbeknownst to Angel, and we chose not to share with him at the time, was that our steak…we shared the dry-aged bone in ribeye, was not good at all. It was mostly gristle, with very little chewable parts. This was quite disappointing, as there was great anticipation for this meal, particularly the steak. Yes, Angel asked us if everything was fine on more than one occasion, but he was so kind and helpful that we didn’t want to spoil it. If our steak would’ve been of better quality, we would have given a 5 for overall score. The birthday boy was shocked and disappointed, again, as this is not what he remembered from dining there in the past. Hoping more care is given to choosing the cuts that are served to the customer.
