Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     I feel a restaurant rarely lives up to five stars all across the board, but I would give Charley's ten (10) stars if I could. They are absolutely wonderful! We were taken to our table at exactly our reservation time, our server was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu, and the food was beyond fantastic. You will not regret visiting this restaurant.

    Amazing Steakhouse! Great food and drinks and the hospitality was top notch…we had 2 main servers that made sure our experience was top notch. Had the bacon wrapped scallops, lobster bisque, house, salad, and my wife and I shared a an aged ribeye that was out of this world. Treat yourself to this great establishment.

    What a great steakhouse find! Boise level is a bit high as to be expected in a social gathering space. Dark, rich furnishings and comfortable booths are perfect for the look. The service and food are spectacular. The price is not shocking given the reward.

    The waitress screwed up the side order and we received the wrong style of potatoes. The waitress reviewed her notes on what we ordered and she said that the potatoes we received is what she put in, but it was the wrong side. She said she would correct it but that it would take a little while. We were waiting and the manager came over and apologized for the error in our order and the potatoes would be removed from the bill. However they were not complimentary, we paid for them. Very unhappy with the service.

    We recently dined at Charley’s Steakhouse, and while the service was great, the food and presentation didn’t justify the high price. Upon arriving the booth seats at our table was dirty with crumbs. The Old Fashioned tasted good but was served in a sticky glass. The crab cakes lacked flavor, the bacon-wrapped scallops were chewy, and the salads and cheese bread were uninspired. My husband’s steak was cooked properly, but my salmon was overcooked and bland. The lobster mac and cheese was just okay. Desserts were a mixed bag—cheesecake was delicious, but the chocolate cake was dry. We expected more flavor, care in presentation, and attention to detail. Our final bill came to roughly $380 before tip, and for that price, I expected far more—better flavors, thoughtful presentation, and an elevated dining experience. While the server and staff were attentive and pleasant, the food and overall experience didn’t justify the cost. I can find similar quality elsewhere for less than half the price. Charley’s Steakhouse had the potential to impress, but unfortunately, it left us feeling underwhelmed.
