2 x children and 2 x adults. However as they are 13 & 14 they are charged adult rates So afternoon tea for 4 including service was over £450 Absolutely ridiculous prices Food was ok. Quirky imaginative and entertaining. Service was excellent, restaurant was a little cold. Not much atmosphere. The let down was the price. Def NOT worth the money

Food and servie was outstanding and overall was a great experience. Two minor complaints, was offered water for the table, it wasn't clear this was going to be bottled water and charged. The second being sugar was in a sachet rather than suger cubes. For a stylish, upmarket location and experience, this was a minor let down. But service was excellent, staff were incredibly helpful and attentive.

Very disappointing. Nothing was fabulous, beautiful or exciting. Very blah. Not impressive for high tea. Food was mediocre. Deserts were not exciting. Only good things were cotton candy and hot chocolate

We visited today after attending the Snowman show at the Peacock Theatre, and we were seated next to a pillar, which wasn't ideal. The afternoon tea experience left much to be desired, especially at the steep price of £95 per adult and £65 for a child. With an additional service charge of £38, our total ended up being £293 for the three of us. This experience was far from the delight I had anticipated. When I asked the waiter to remove the service charge, I was told it was required by law. Although we left a £20 tip, the waiter explained that the service charge was intended for all the staff behind the scenes. I definitely won't be returning to this hotel. I've had far superior afternoon teas in London for half the price, and overall, I found the experience rather shabby.

For us not a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory experience at all in the broadest sense of the word; decoration in the restaurant itself, staff, dishes, etc. It's a pity, because you can make so many beautiful things out of it.

From the schnozberry to the candy floss and egg and mayo Sammy’s Yousef our waiter made the experience absolutely delightful and delicious!!!! What a special tea we had ! Thank you so much !

While it was a nice afternoon tea with good service and the ability to have extra of most things if you wanted it. It was very expensive for what it was. We were hoping to be brought into the world of the book or movie a bit more. There were really only a couple of elements that reminded us of the Charlie and the chocolate factory theme in the food - and very very limited decor downstairs to remind us of the theme. I do feel more of an effort could have been put in to bring us into the book. The people and food was nice enough - it just didn’t deliver on the magical theme.

Service was good, food was delicious, but decor could have been way better, no creativity had gone into the experience. Children looked bored around us and be prepared for a hefty service charge.
