   We had a business dinner here after a long day of sessions at an industry conference. The staff took great care of us, the food was delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. Will definitely come again.

   Was rushed. Sorbet was brought out while I was barely 1/2 way through main course. After being rushed to finish, I was ignored when trying to get check to pay. I enjoyed the meal, but not ideal for solo guest.

   We enjoyed the 3 course theater dinner with wine pairings before attending a Broadway play. The aged beef with au poivre was excellent, and we were surprised at how delicious the bread was. Our server Mimi was attentive and entertaining and helped to make our evening special.

   Highly recommend the martini bar cart experience. This was the only good part of the evening. The rest was all very lackluster and sadly we were forgotten by our waitress. We arrived at 5pm for our reservation and initially waited approx 10 minutes prior to the hostess returning to the welcome station. Once seated all pleasantries were exchanged and we were assured we should have no issue to leave on time for our show by 8pm. We requested the martini bar cart experience and the gentleman was quite knowledgeable and the cocktail was delish! The meals were so so. Pastas were bland and our dinner plates were manhandled into nearly knocking over the drinks by the runners. All the staff struggled getting around an unnecessary curtain and they made it several points to disclose their discord on the situation. It was exhausting to hear of their complaints. Our waitress disappeared for the last hour. We were finally rescued by a new server that was happy to help and was able to bring our desserts which we requested to go as now it was 730pm. We also noted on the check we were charged for an appetizer that we did not request but had assumed it was a compliment of the chef as we also heard several guests also received the same service. Certainly it was not worth the charge or to even be on the menu. Upon leaving the restaurant we noticed our waitress apparently went to the gym on the same floor and left on the elevator in sweatpants prior to us leaving the building. We had considered staying in the hotel in the future and possibly returning to the restaurant for another experience, but we feel this is not worth the time or money. We recommend to not waste your time unless you have time to waste.

   We did the pre-theater meal and it was great. This was a nice way to experience Charlie Palmer, have a solid, delicious, filling meal, do so for $68 per person (plus drinks, tax, and tip, of course) and to get to our show on time. The ambience is very nice, the service is great, and everything we had was prepared properly and was very good. Recommended!

   The steaks were excellent, but the sides were just average. Our server was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely helpful. However, the ambience left much to be desired. The lighting was far too bright, creating a harsh atmosphere, while the music was too low to enhance the dining experience. Additionally, the presence of fruit flies at the bar was disappointing and raised concerns about cleanliness. The restaurant was also nearly empty and eerily quiet, which only amplified the lack of atmosphere. For a high-end steakhouse, consistency across all aspects—food, service, and ambience—is expected. To add to the disappointment, they were out of the wine we had selected. At this price point, dining should feel refined and immersive, but the experience fell short. Given the cost, it simply is not worth returning.

    The quality of the food was not as good as expected and our actual steak knives were not sharp enough to cut through the steaks ordered, which was disappointing for a steakhouse. The service was also not great, particularly given that is wasn’t very busy for a Saturday night at all. We poured our own wine the entire dinner and no one ever came by to ask if we would like to order another bottle. We weren’t offered more water at the end of the meal either. The absence of expected service for a restaurant of this caliber was a bit disappointing.
