We appreciated the staff and the chef. We had early Christmas Eve dinner and they were very accommodating for offering outside their set menu. Food was great and the peppercorn cause was bomb.

Though the steak itself was lovely, the service was not to the expected level for such an establishment and within the Knickerbocker Hotel. Given the alternative steak house options around Times Square and New York, I would recommend trying somewhere else.

The service was not good. My children got their apps and dinner at the same time. Drinks were taking entirely way too long to fill. My water was never refilled. The salmon was way over cooked. The lobster bisque was not worth the price. Overall not a great experience. Charged us gratuity on a party of 5 when it clearly states they only do that with parties of 6. Won’t be back.

As usual the food was excellent! We didn’t realize the location changed to the 4th floor of the Knickerbocker Hotel, but the ambiance was just as nice!

Ugh. Wanted to say it was exceptional, but because of a unannounced special event, and an unannounced limited menu, it truly was not exceptional. Steak Frites (ordered medium rare) was really over done, dry, small, and slow. Service also really slow. Wine forgotten until I reminded her. Ice cream desert REALLY slow (almost seemed forgotten). Coffee....cold. Caeser salad was nice. Maybe on a regular night, it all lives up to the hype but dinner for 1 at $140 plus tip should have been so much better. Place looks really nice, so maybe just an off night.
