   Not your usual Thai food. Made to order so takes a while to arrive, the menu is small and varied. The king prawn dumplings were excellent. The lamb shank mussaman curry was good. But my highlight was the S&P silken tofu of large crispy cubes that melted in your mouth. I never thought I’d speak so highly of a tofu dish. So well seasoned. Apple pie in a flaky tofu shell rounded off a very satisfying meal.

   The food at Charlong is always absolutely superb and the hospitality and service is excellent. The noise is however overwhelming if one is seated in the middle of the room. We usually sit at the side or the front of the restaurant which is noisy but perfectly tolerable. But last night Charlong very graciously fitted in a last minute addition to our booking so a bigger table in the middle was needed. The beautiful food and lovely professional service was compensation. 😊

   Exceptional food, creative and at times surprising. Have now dined several times and will confirm to just to find out what new seasonal dishes are coming!

   The food was exdrodinary...delicate flavours all made fresh. No 'feeling full' after. Should be a hat or atleast a cap!Thankyou!

   When i went last time about 3 weeks ago the food was so good, i took some friends over yesterday the food was just bad. The pad see ew was so below average. There was barely any mushrooms or the sauce, the noodles were over cooked. Was upset that it spent $200 for average food

   Every aspect of the experience was thoroughly enjoyed by us all. The flavours were exquisitely crafted & the staff attentive. We never felt rushed & were allowed to split the bill four ways. Absolutely to be recommended; be aware though, the acoustics do not allow for easy conversation

    Has so much potential. Amazing food but lamb was on the cold side and slaw wasn’t served at the same time. Took at least 5 mins longer. Service was average compared to the prices. Would go again, hope it was an off night
