CHARLONG, where authentic Thai food meets art. Situated in the culinary heart of St Kilda on Carlisle Street, Charlong has quickly established itself as a "haven for food lovers" combining authentic Thai flavours with hearty French cooking techniques and local seasonal produce. Charlong boasts a rotating seasonal menu, with a series of Vegetarian/Vegan and Gluten Free options available to enjoy. If you would like to dine in, Charlong creates a cosy yet vibrant and light-filled atmosphere, with a colourful wall mural, shopfront glass, and simple alluring furnishings, the atmosphere removes all distraction and allows one to fully enjoy and appreciate their meal.     Large Group Reservation We accept reservations for groups of 8-16 in our dining area. Maximum capacity is 16. Large groups of 8 and up must dine on our Chef’s Selection menu. This banquet includes our signature items and is designed to provide a delightful dining experience for your group. The Chef's Selection includes: - 2 snacks per person - A sharing selection of individual small dishes - 2 main courses with a wok for sharing (enough portions for everyone) - A side salad - Dessert per person Remarks: The dietary requirements will be known in the prior and we can do our delicious substitute dishes to serve you Please note that we are a fully licensed restaurant and cannot allow BYO drinks

                                                    Has so much potential. Amazing food but lamb was on the cold side and slaw wasn’t served at the same time. Took at least 5 mins longer. Service was average compared to the prices. Would go again, hope it was an off night

                                                    Had a lovely meal with a friend. Food was sensational and portions were good. Every dish packed serious flavour. We ordered the Gado gado tartlets, dumplings, pad Thai, eggplant curry & broccoli and everything was sensational. Would happily go back and recommend.

                                                    The food was lovely but not cheap. Cocktails were lovely. Ain't complaint was there were only three tables when we arrived for an early dinner but the service was so slow. Drinks took ages to order then ages to come I did notice more staff arrived but the slowness of service was off putting. The crap toast was delicious and the massage slow cooked curry was also very good. The place was also quite warm although it was a very hot day but the air con couldn't cope.

                                                    We have been about 10 times and it has been fabulous every time. The flavours are sensational, the serving sizes perfect and the service very friendly. We would highly recommend.
