    Christmas dinner for 4. Prix fixe menu was provided excellent choices. Excellent meal, mainly good service, however slow to start. Main concern was we were seated on the 2nd floor. However, we were with my 91 year old mother and she had to walk up several steps and then down. We were not asked if the 2nd floor would be okay. A table for four should have been offered on the first floor. Management needs to be more involved. Never saw a manager throughout the entire meal. No one acknowledged is on the way out. $600 for four, including tip would have been better on the first level. Management needs to take responsibility for this.

    This was our 8th Christmas at Chart House. It's always a highlight for our family. We know we will have a nice holiday experience. The setting and cuisine are a plus. Best of all is the staff. From those who greet us to those who so professionally serve us, their staff can't be beat. Our waitress *Kitty was EXCEPTIONAL. She helped make our Christmas dinner very special and memorable. *Just remembered her name.

    A wonderful, unhurried dinner experience. Wait staff was friendly and cheerful. Meals were delicious and nicely presented. Highly recommend for someone looking for an unhurried family get together at the holidays.

    Prix fixe menus offered Christmas Day offered a variety of dishes. The Chilean sea bass with lobster risotto and tomato beurre blanc sauce was outstanding. Pleasant atmosphere.

    It was an exceptional overall experience. It was amazing not only restaurant was open, but they served special festive menu for Christmas Eve! The food was delicious, and manager himself made a Tableside Torched Apple Manhattan. I only feel the courses were rushed and there should have been sometime between each course to enjoy and savor dishes. Especially, dessert was brought while we had not finished the main course.

    Still the same great views and ambiance. Although the menu is more limited than I remember, the service was above par and excellent. Staff and management were genuine and kind. It’s expensive so it’s definitely a special occasion meal but discounts are offered for your next meal by joining their club.

    This is a fun place for some lovely views. The food is decent (though the sea bass was rubbery at best) and the ambiance is nice. Pricey for what it is, but it was a good choice for a birthday dinner for out of town folks who wanted to be right on the water in Old Town

    I had made a reservation for 10pm a week in advance and a day later when I noticed online it said they close at 10pm I was confused and called to ask about that and if my reservation was still valid. They said yes but to come on time because they would close the doors at 10pm. Upon arrival we were greeted and the atmosphere was friendly, when we placed drinks and food orders we were rushed a bit but politely so we tried to accommodate and rush a bit even though we were also trying to enjoy ourselves and the bday dinner. I believe we all finished our food in a timely manner we had finished the appetizers way before the entrees and finished our entrees in about 30 mins. We felt bad because they were closing the restaurant so we asked for the dessert for the bday girl and wanted to head out asap. At 11:25 they brought out the cake, at 11:30 the manager came and said “Hi I’m gonna have to ask you guys to wrap this up (we all said okay in unison, and she continued to go on in an aggressive tone) like we’re done, kitchen’s done, server’s done, we’re done” I completely understand the timing and people wanting to go home as I’ve worked in food service too but this was our very first interaction with them wanting us to leave so the attitude and disrespect from the beginning is outrageous. We all agreed to leave but this left an extremely bad impression on all of us. I think 10pm reservations just shouldn’t be an option if that’s how people are going to be treated. Other than the experience with the manager, the server was great.
