    Our waitress spilled wine on a guest, took over an hour to order and almost two hours before dinner arrived. Added corkage fee after we gave our CC without telling us.

    We enjoyed our anniversary dinner but though we noted it because they asked, it wasn't addressed. Not a big deal but wondered why they even asked if it was a special occasion. It is expensive and though nice inside and the waitress very nice and friendly, it's not a cozy warm atmosphere inside. We are in our 60s and it was chilly inside the restaurant. We were not near windows or doors but others around us were felling the chill and kept their jackets on. We didn't say anything so that's on us and we managed ok. This is our second time here and we had reservations. Both times walking in, no one is at the front desk. We waited for a good 7 minutes before a gentleman came from the back. Other staff saw us waiting but didn't say anything to us nor tell someone we were waiting. Then, when he did come forward, he looked us up and said he had to go church to see if he could find a table for us. After he left, we chuckled because the place was ½ empty and lots of tables available. Everything went smoothly with the waitress, very friendly and nice personality and smile which we appreciate. We ordered the chart your course meal which is $55 per person but when the bill came we were charged $60 for each prime rib and then separately for the salad/ soup and dessert. Not sure where the error happened, at input into computer or what but she got it corrected and it finally worked out. We definitely appreciate the complimentary valet as i have mobilty issues and even with our handicapped tag there's no place to park on our own close by. We tipped the valet. This is definitely a plus over PCG nearby. One more thing they could do for ambience is light the candles at the tables. The candle holder is there but none were lit in the restaurant. Would give the place a warm look at least.

    Food was excellent but service was very sloooow. Maybe understaffed for that day. Generally better.

    It would be unfair to rate the Chart House on a fixed price New Years Menu as in all restaurants, this tends to be an okay meal. We had the good fortune of dining at the Chart House a week prior and had almost the similar meal. The meal prepared a week ago was very good, the meal last night was just okay.

    They should do a better job of training their staff. We waited for 30 minutes before our waiter came to us. He never introduced himself and was quite blunt when asking us for our orders. No conversation, & no etiquette.. we had the new year special which was an appetizer, Maine, and dessert. The lobster bisque was far from being what lobster bisque should taste like. The salads or salads, so perfect! Can’t go wrong there. The risotto felt reheated. The steaks were under seasoned. The desserts, cheesecakes were warm, lava cake was cold! The price did not reflect the meal 5/10

    The table was perfect, as requested! The food was very good, but the service was mediocre, and we felt rushed. For example, the Waiter (who did not provide his name) brought my salad without dressing. Then while I was waiting for the Waiter about my salad, the Food Runner brought our main dish. Then they brought my salad as I was mid-way with my main dish. The Waiter apologized and blamed the Kitchen staff. In my opinion, it’s unacceptable to blame someone else for the problem. Overall, we had a nice NYE dinner!

    We arrived at 4:15 PM on New Year’s Eve. Our reservation was for 4:30 so we were asked to wait. Promptly at 4:30 they seated us at a table by the window so we had a clear view of the sunset. However the fog precluded a sunset show. Our server,was Wendy, we had had the privilege of waiting on us before. She was great! The special 3 course dinner was delicious. Caesar salad, 9 oz fillet done to perfection, and a small Lava Cake for dessert was just right. The Chart House is one of our favorites, they certainly didn’t disappoint us on a very busy night!!
