    We celebrated our anniversary last night at the Chart House DP. It was a delicious meal and excellent service. Beautiful view of the harbor and Christmas lights.

    We didn’t even order, because our server informed us that they were completely out of steak, and all they had in that category was prime rib, which we do not eat. We went to The Chart House to celebrate my husband’s birthday specifically for the filet mignon. What a huge disappointment! We can understand running out of a special fish or dessert, but it’s hard to understand how you be all out of steak. We left .

    Our server, Tony, was awesome. Very attentive, made great recommendations, and helped make my wife's birthday feel special. I strongly recommend the patio, the view is fantastic and plenty heater to deal with nighttime chills.

    Fantastic restaurant! Our first time coming here and we were pleasantly surprised! Great food, excellent service, and a beautiful view of Dana Point harbor and the Pacific Ocean! I highly recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be coming back!

    Have visited the Chart House family of restaurants in other cities over the years and quality and service have been hit and miss. Our visit to the Dana Point Chart House was one of the best Chart House experiences we have had. The food was prepared just as requested, the flavor exellent and the portions generous. The prime rib was coooked exactly as requested and the mustard beurre blanc on the salmon was light and added just enough flavor without overpowering the plate. The view was lovely but it was the serivce that stood out. Our waitress was attentive without making us feel rushed and the servers and other table staff looked out for our needs as well. The manager seated us, checked in with us and was present and observant in the dining room during our entire time at the restaurant. We left feeling like the dining experience delivered on all fronts.
