The restaurant is available with limited availability for complete buy-outs.

    Our server was the best. Great food. Music choice in the restaurant was questionable. Overall, everything was great!

    Very nice! Good was good and staff was very good. We got a personalized menu which we didn’t expect so that was a nice surprise

    Shame to have a reservation for 2 at 7pm and wait 35 minutes. Waiting area was claustrophobic and filled with humanity. Restaurant was too loud. Salad bar was picked over. Finally NO PRIME RIB! reason we went there. Paid $280 and left the place intermittently scratching my head and then my bottom.

    We always come for the salad bar and it never disappoints. The restaurant was busier than normal because of the holiday weekend but our server was amazing, very friendly, and super attentive despite how many tables she had.

    This restaurant has really gone down hill. I’ve been coming to this location since 1977( prior to it becoming Charthouse and many times since becoming charthouse. Though we had reservation for Saturday night, we were seated right above bar patrons, very loud and crowded. Restaurant was freezing; we asked if heat was working. We wore our coats thru dinner. Our server Vanessa was great but overworked. We waited a long time to place a drink order and a long time for our check. Food was really good but $16 for salad bar with our entree was extreme.

    From the moment you walk into the restaurant you are greeted with a friendly smile and a welcoming feeling. Reservations had been made and we were seated on time. Our waiter, Mark, was pleasant, attentive, engaging and yet not overly attentive. Mark offered us the Landry Club Card and we signed up. Costing you $25, you recover this back upon sign up. This card gives you preferred seating, (by a window) seating even before someone with reservations and a $25 birthday credit. We ordered the chicken, steak with fully loaded baked potato, shrimp, sautéed mushrooms, clam chowder, and mud pie. Everything was cooked to perfection. Saturday night was busy, a bit loud but you are able to have a conversation with your table mates. Bathrooms were clean. Great waiting area if you do not have reservations. Plenty of metered parking and no steps to get in restaurant.

    Fantastic food, nice ambiance and accommodated my kids. The service was a little slow, but it was a Saturday evening. All in all, will definitely be back and a must for when visiting Monterey.

    Not our first time here. We celebrated a birthday. We were seated as soon as we walked in. It is a beautiful restaurant with a view of the ocean. I'm glad we made a reservation. The restaurant was packed.... even though it was Thursday. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The dinner menus were printed with "Happy Birthday," which I thought was an amazing detail. We had a great dining experience and will definitely visit again.

    Always a special place to eat. Damian was a great server, very attentive and pleasant . Probably the best server we have had at this Chart House. We celebrate birthdays and special occasions here!
