We normally love Che Bello and still recommend it but they had an off night on this night. The kitchen was very backed up so it too a really long time to get the food. My son has severe food allergies, one of which is dairy, and they brought out his meal with a big piece of garlic bread on it which had butter so it had to be remade. My wife’s blackened salmon was not seasoned properly and very dry. The server was sympathetic and actually got us a 50% discount due to the errors. The rest of the food was very tasty and we will return. Like I said, I think we just caught Che Bello on an off night.

Staff was super overwhelmed. We checked in for our reservation and told it would be another 30 minutes to wait. Waited an hour after our reservation and didn’t get seated so ate at the bar.

I really wanted to love this restaurant; however would not go back. It took 45 minutes to get beverages (they lost our ticket) and then they forgot my daughter's food (soup and salad). Totally understand they were understaffed on a huge football weekend, but the waiter did nothing to help the situation.

The food was inedible & the service was worse. I will never go back & warn others not too. And they could care less.

We chose this restaurant to have dinner at on the first night of our weekend stay in Bloomington. We were sat at a round table near the front window and the place did seem very busy as it was a Friday night. Our server took a very long time to greet us. He seemed like he was in a hurry and he spoke very fast that we never caught his name. We ordered appetizers and half of our drinks and he walked away before we were finished ordering. We had appetizers, salads, and entrees during our visit. This restaurant calls itself "Italian cuisine" and it was far from it. The stuffed mushrooms were very tiny and covered in so much cheese that you couldn't taste anything but cheese. The entrees were not edible. The pizza had so much sauce on it that we couldn't even eat it. The chicken parmesan had no sauce on it and the chicken was so overdone. All pasta dishes are noted to come with house garlic bread. What we received was toasted plain white bread. No garlic or butter was on it at all. There was no flavor and the inconsistency of the dishes was ridiculous. We hardly ever saw our server. He seemed like he was stretched very thin as no other tables around us were in his section and was coming from the other end of the restaurant waiting on tables in the back also. When he finally checked on us and offered boxes for the dishes we hadn't touched we told him no because they were not enjoyable. He was gone for over 30 minutes! This is not an exaggeration either. I stayed at the table while the other guests in my party left the restaurant to walk a few blocks over to get dessert from another business. They then enjoyed those desserts and came back and I was still sitting at the table waiting to be acknowledged by any member of their staff at this point. I asked for a manager twice and no one ever came to our table to address the many many issues we encountered. This was a terrible dining experience and I strongly encourage diners to look anywhere but here.

We have walked past and overlooked this wonderful restaurant for years and were pleasantly surprised this weekend. The food was great and the service friendly and attentive.

Melissa was wonderful. All of the food had to be sent back as it was served cold. Mel had every meal recooked. Steaks were cold and improperly cooked. Even if they had been cooked properly the quality of the steaks were very poor! I am in the food business, and I know you want to keep the food costs down, but for the prices you are charging the value is not there The chain steak houses have better quality of food and taste better and priced right We would only come back if Mel would be our server. She went of her way to make the experience as best as possible!he
