Cheever's Cafe, located just 2 miles from Downtown Oklahoma City, specializes in contemporary comfort food with Southwest influences. Cheever's serves a variety of prime steaks, fresh seafood and wonderful salads, as well as daily and nightly specials. Locals in-the-know love our seafood tamales, chicken fried steak, and sublime salads for dinner, lunch, brunch – everyday dining or special occasions.

                                                My wife and I came here for a lunch date on a whim and were able to be seated 15min ahead of our reservation. They had an expansive selection of wines along with cocktails and a mix of local/national beers. I tried the local Neon Sunshine from Stonecloud Brewing Co. and it was very smooth and refreshing, while my wife ordered a gin mule; also refreshing! For lunch, we ordered the daily special which was Green Chile Mac'n'Cheese with 3 Honey-Sriracha chicken tenders and then the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp and Grits. The food came out quick and was VERY GOOD and VERY FLAVORFUL! We became repeat customers today and will definitely be returning. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a laidback environment with high-class dining. Parking is limited.

                                                Had a wonderful evening! The chicken fried steak, Boomtown cocktail and pecan ice cream were fantastic! Our waiter, Joseph, did a great job keeping everything coming even with a packed restaurant. I’ll be back.

                                                The service was good, as was the food. The staff was gracious in dealing with a well-done steak that was supposed to be rare. A complimentary dessert was offered for my son who was celebrating his birthday. I especially recommend the tortilla soup. It is nice to receive complimentary sides and bread instead of being charged extra for them.

                                                Halibut and ribeye were outstanding. So were the blue cheese chips, and I don't like blue cheese!

                                                This place was good. Started off with cocktail and soup. Drink was flavorful and perfect. I had steak and wife had short rib. Unfortunately, my steak was overcooked. I felt bad, but sent it back. Manager agreed ther it wasn’t med rare. She corrected it and I got a new steak that was very good. Had a martini as well that was expertly made. Food here is meat and fish in a nice setting. Clientele ranged from mostly couples ( like us), to a baby shower, a couple family get togethers.
