Cheever's Cafe, located just 2 miles from Downtown Oklahoma City, specializes in contemporary comfort food with Southwest influences. Cheever's serves a variety of prime steaks, fresh seafood and wonderful salads, as well as daily and nightly specials. Cheever’s is a longtime neighborhood favorite, even though it’s now a 13 mile trek from our current neighborhood. Cozy informal atmosphere yet suitable for special occasions. The unique Southwestern touches on many menu items always provide delicious surprises. Favorites are Juan’s queso and tortilla soup. Small but eclectic and reasonable wine list.

Ordered the Roasted Chicken and Pepper Jack Struedal, this was outstanding. I ordered the Molasses Roast chicken breast, grits and brussel sprouts excellent, chicken to dry. Husband had the Quinoa Avacado salad and was way to salty, for the cost would not return.

Our first time at Cheever’s and we were not disappointed! The servers were kind and responsive and the food was spectacular! I would recommend making a reservation though, as they are very busy!

Easy close parking free. Lovely young couple held doors for us to enter. Quaint cozy small feel revamped old mercantile building. Very attentive service. Food excellent - Caesar salad, tortilla soup, molasses chicken breast, creamy butternut squash over pork roulette, side of spicy shrimp risotto. Brought home huge piece of carrot cake which is too moist for mr and lacks a knockout icing. But I still have 2 servings left. Negative part of evening was nearby 2 very drunk young couples being louder and louder with the only known adjective in their lexicon being fuc_ing.
