Sunday Lunch Testing Menu. Chef Jono’s usual twist on some classics - roast beef was sensational. Great attentive service - absolutely loved it and will be back.

Novembers fine dining menu was superb! Nice and filling as filling as well so worth every penny. The team and food was perfect as always. Thank you for making our engagement meal special 😀

Welcoming reception and feel. Calm and comfortable whilst being treated. Much care taken to explain food and wines. Had the 5 course menu. Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday Lunchtime taster meal and the staff were so lovely. They were helpful and informative but also gave lots of space and privacy to enjoy the food. Each course was beautifully presented (just one we weren’t keen on but more our personal taste) - our favourites were the Moroccan Lamb, a beautiful and generous Beef Dinner and a fabulous Strawberry Shortcake dessert. We were surprised to be so full after a taster menu and thought it was extremely good value.

We went for the Sunday lunch at 12.30pm, there was only one other table being occupied but apparently 2pm gets a lot busier. The opening snacks chickpea tartlet and a good slab Yorkshire malt loaf. All the dishes were seasoned beautifully, the Moroccan Lamb (pulled) was exceptional, and I'm not a fan of lamb. They did not scrimp on the main, beef was tender, plentiful cauliflower cheese and a decent size jug of gravy. The service was friendly and swift. It was our Wedding Anniversary and Chef Jono sent over a signed Menu as a memento, which I thought was a lovely touch. I would whole heartily recommend a visit to V&V

We had the November signature tasting menu and came away very full and happy! Staff were lovely and presented my husband with a signed copy of the menu for his birthday, which was a nice touch. Some dishes had to be substituted due to my pregnancy which was fine and meant we got to try even more. Ramen broth was a standout dish. The mushroom tiramasu was a little challenging! Nothing disappointed though. Only issue we had was I got very hot as we were on the table next to the pass and I had to get some fresh air. The staff clocked this straight away and wedged the door open for the rest of the meal. It's obviously not cheap but worth every penny for a special occasion
