   There for my wife’s birthday. She ordered the Boursin stuffed Filet medium rare. It came out grey. Almost well done. Manager has it remade. In the time it came back out my meal Was done. We have dined there many times and this is the 3rd time a steak was way over cooked. Not what’s expected from a high end steakhouse.

   We used to love this restaurant, but it’s falling downhill quickly. We have a second home in Gatlinburg and have been dining there since the restaurant opened. This time we brought a group of friends who had never visited before. The restaurant was out of multiple appetizers, entrees, and sides, but didn’t notify us until after we ordered them and already waited a long time for them to come out. They brought the wrong food to two people in our party of 6, and one of the filet mignon’s was brought out with cheese inside to a group member who has lactose intolerance. When she asked to have the filet made as she ordered it, they just rinsed off the cheese and brought it back to her. It seems like everyone serving on the floor and working in the kitchen have language barriers that prevent them from getting the proper meal to the proper diner in a reasonable time. The manager did refund the filet mignon that was mistakenly prepared with cheese and made a different one (so it took 3 attempts to get it and everyone was done eating by the time she received her meal). The entire meal was one disaster after another. We are taking the Cherokee Grill off of our list. All three of the restaurants this company owns in that area need to be closed down. The other two became disgusting years ago. Go to The Peddler or The Park Grill. Stay away from The Cherokee Grill, Calhoun’s, and the Brewery in the back of the same shopping area. Bad group of restaurants owned by one company!!

   First time that we have ever been disappointed in the food here. Whoever made the Neva’s potatoes forgot the cheesy stuff in them. It just wasn’t good. The manager did take the cost of my salad off to cover for the potatoes. And we will be back as we have been many many times and this is the first time it just wasn’t good.

   Food was delicious as always. Everything was great, our waiter was a little off but nothing terrible. Just not very attentive or as friendly as we are used to there.

   Outstanding steaks. Wife had crab cake and was easy 85-90% lump crab and tasted delicious. My son's and I had filets with lobster tails and were cooked perfectly to order and lobster was very good. Service was good. Took a little longer but well worth the wait. Definitely will return!

   Food was delicious! Server was kind and gave great recommendations. If we ever come back to Gatlinburg, we will definitely eat there again!
