Tucked away behind Victoria Street and only minutes away from St James’s Park and Victoria station, Chez Antoinette Victoria adds to the neighbourhood’s vibrant restaurant scene. An oasis of calm locals would prefer us to keep a secret. “We wanted to create a canteen for the locals and provide the business community with a new dining-room” Jean-Baptiste JB Noel, co-owner.

Chez Antoinette Victoria draws inspiration from the beloved Parisian cafés, combined with a blend of Lyon’s famous guinguettes, reinterpreting classic dishes from tarts to tartines treating fresh seasonal ingredients with a modern sensibility.

    They seemed under staffed when we arrived and it took 30mins just take our drinks order. There was one experienced waitress and one other that appeared to be a trainee for the entire top section - which was full. Also we were celebrating a birthday and this was completely overlooked and not acknowledged despite stating the occasion at the point of booking. I have been here a few times now and this has never happened before so I do hope it’s a one-off because the food is delicious.

    Food was delicious! Service was good. At the end of dinner they added a 20% service charge on a table for two. Nowhere is this disclosed online or on their menu so we were confused by this. Crème Brûlée for dessert was great!

    Simply excellent. Always eat here when in London and eat here multiple times when in town. Both the food and service are top notch.

    Service was prompt. Heaters kindly adjusted to suit our party. Delicious meal. Welcomed there when protest march taking place in Victoria Street. Really glad to eat lunch there..

    I made a reservation for breakfast at 11:15 and was waiting for my friend and just before 11:20 a rude waiter came up and demanded I order because they were late setting up for lunch. I went back to my booking to see if there was any stipulations around ordering quickly due to the time of my booking. There was not. So I guessed what my friend would want and ordered for us. When our food came they had not drained the poached eggs on my friends plate so the whole dish had excess water. Luckily there was a very nice waitress and manager who did comp us one of the dishes. I just could not get over that first waiter. He was also rushing around and not in that vibey way in a bustling restaurant but more like he was stressed and under pressure. No bueno. It’s actually a nice setting and although the food was not great and that one waiter ruined it… I do want to be fair that the other interactions with one waitress and manager were very pleasant.
