We started by sitting at the bar in an effort to take it all in. After requesting a wine list, we sat. And sat. And watched others, who had arrived after us, get served. Then, we sat longer. Finally a bartender cluelessly asks us if we’d been served yet. We asked for a couple glasses of wine and she said something along the lines of yes, I just have a few martinis to make, then I’ll be able to get those. Martinis do people who just sat down at least 10 minutes after we’d arrived. Bar service was clearly an oxymoron today. We abandoned the bar for our table without having received anything. That’s when service got 100% better. Alejandro was our server. He was attentive even though he had many tables on this particular night. Water, drinks and appetizers were all quickly provided without any issues or drama. Flawless at that point! Food was good, hot and portions were good. Oysters casino seemed a little wonky. Difficult to understand what they were going for with the burnt herbs served on the side. Entrees of mushroom ravioli was pretty good but I think they should consider a contrasting texture by adding something as simple as pine nuts. They should also filter the burnt bits of “brown butter” because that’s what a chef would do as a matter of self pride. Nice ambiance and live music all added to the atmosphere which was nice, energetic and all done at a reasonable volume. We’ll be back but I suggest just passing on the bar!請問這對你有幫助嗎?

It was great that this restaurant was open on Christmas Day! Everything we had was quite good.
