We tried a new spot. It was nice and had some interesting food choices that were worth exploring. Service was a bit of challenge but they recovered somewhat being shorthanded. Worth a try at least once!

We have been to chick's a number of times and NEVER had an issue. Food was always good, quick and service was always wonderful. Yesterday was not our typical experience there. We got there 11:03 for our 11:15 reservation, the short blond hair lady greeted us and sat us quickly and gave my husband a sticker for a raffle to win a top. She was very friendly/welcoming. Then we sat, our waiter came over he took our beverage order and gave us the menu and the paper with the Father's Day specials. We placed our orders and my son asked for a bacon, egg & Cheese on a roll. The waiter told us there was no roll, I then pointed out the one item on the menu had a seeded roll as an option for the sandwich. We explained we didn't care what type of roll he just wanted a breakfast sandwich. It was a bit frustrating but we finally got him to order the sandwich. We waited and didn't get our food until around 12pm or a little after. There were only 2 tables when we got there and I heard the one server apologize for the delay when we first sat down but I didn't think too much into it. Our food normally comes out very fast and all of our meals didn't come out the same time. My husband ordered a meal that had said eggs, sausage and gravy which we assumed since it was brunch it was brown or white gravy not red sauce/gravy. The waiter did take it off the bill and that was appreciated as my husband didn't eat it he tried it and didn't like it. Then as we were getting ready to leave a waitress spilled something on my son sitting down who had a white shirt on, she had dishes/plates of food and spilled food on the back of my son's white ralph Lauren polo shirt. She looked down as she knew she spilled/bump him with the stuff and didn't bother to say sorry or anything just proceeded to keep walking by. It was just all around not the normal experience we have at chicks and I brought my in laws bragging about food and the service and felt a little embarrassed.

Nice atmosphere to have a casual lunch. Good food. Plenty of drink options and TVs in all the right places.

It was a post Broad Street Rub brunch which happened to fall on Cinco de Mayo. Expecting it to be busy, I submitted a reservation about a month prior. All was good. We anticipated longer wait times to get food but food came out pretty quickly. The one thing to share that could’ve been better was the draft beers were flat. My wife, brother, and sister in law all had different beers and each experienced the same issue. The waitress did share that the CO2 lines had some work done the night before. Overall, it was good.

i love Chick's. I go there often and am never disappointed. This time though the service was not good. our server seemed disinterested and was not very attentive. i asked first more iced tea and never got it instead she came back to the table and just took my empty glass without even asking anything like are u done or dominant more. i did not say anything. other than that, the food was terrific and it's a great place to hang out. I recommended highly despite this incident of bad service.
