Chico Malo, a lively take on Mexican cooking, is located in the middle of it all at CityScape. These rebels are bringing the heat to DTPHX during lunch, dinner and weekend brunch with an array of flavor combinations from all over Mexico. Expect highlights including USDA Prime Carne Asada, Street Corn, Smoked Duck Breast Al Pastor and authentic favorites like Pozole and Green Chile Chicken. An amazing restaurant upon our visit to Phoenix. Amazing, fresh, wonderful food, our server, Jesus, was phenomenal. It came recommended y our u we driver and that guy was spot on!!

We have been here on several occasions with pleasant experiences. Not so this time. The server was good--informative and attentive. The food was mediocre to bad. One item in particular was so tough they took it off the bill. The Pork Verde should have been "fall off the bone" tender. But the large piece as hard as a rock...we could hardly get any off the bone. No flavor and so disappointing. The enchiladas were ok, but nothing great. The beans had very little flavor. Queso fundido was very good though, and a ncie appetizer. Hopefully all this was a one off as we have enjoyed Chico Malo in the past...won't be returning any time soon though.

Love this spot. The DJ was on point and was the perfect addition to celebrate my birthday. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, so nice that they gave me a birthday card signed by the staff, that was a first! The food came out in less than 15 minutes on a Friday night! Food was cooked perfectly and everything was delicious, flautas chicken carne asada elotes….The drinks were also ridiculously good. Highly recommend this spot if you want to go out to a fun spot to eat dinner.

Excellent food and service. Menu I bit difficult to understand but the results (enchiladas & shrimp dishes) were first rate. A little expensive for every week.
