Chop Steakhouse & Bar Coal Harbour offers a remarkable steak dining experience, with views of Cruise Ships and the North Shore Mountains. Located near the West Convention Centre, this spot seems perfect for both business meals and casual enjoyment.
Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    Really great location, nice and friendly staff. We were with small kids with allergies and they were very accommodating. Food/Drinks delicious.

    This was an incredible dinner. We went for my partner’s birthday and had great service from Kayleigh. Drinks were great. Steak was great, cooked perfectly. The Steak Oscar was *chef’s kiss* so delicious. Thanks to the crew at CHOP, we will definitely be back.

    Natalie set us up at a really nice table and the ambiance was calm. Our steaks were cooked really well and the service was excellent.

    This place is hands down our favourite steakhouse, my wife and I both love everything about this place. The way they cook their steaks is unmatched in my opinion to any other steakhouse we’ve been too. We will be returning to this place many times in the future.

    Modern upbeat restaurant, kind of in a longitudinal shape with two floors. It has a more open space and light vibe, less a dark or intimate setting. The server was really nice, the drinks (red wine, cocktail) were good. The bread as a starter was really good! It came hot and with browned butter. My wife had the filet mignon with a baked potato, all steaks came with asparagus and beets. It was good but not overwhelming. My rib eye was definitely more flavourful than her's, but after a few bites the saltiness of the rib eye hit me and it became a chore to finish it. After every bite I had to drink water. I'm not sure if a rib eye is supposed to be like this, or if they over-salted it, but i don't think I would come back here for this reason.

    The patio was nice with the sun out and the food was okay. Our waitress went MIA multiple times and tables that were seated after us were served before us.

    We did a wine and food pairing dinner. What an amazing experience. Wow. Great work. The service was over the top. Between our waiter manager and owner you honestly couldn’t have a better experience. Thank you so much for such an amazing night.
