Chop Steakhouse & Bar Coal Harbour offers a remarkable steak dining experience, with views of Cruise Ships and the North Shore Mountains. Located near the West Convention Centre, this spot seems perfect for both business meals and casual enjoyment.
Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    The food was amazing. We ordered the regular prime rib & the 7oz top sirloin. Both with the mashed potatoes as the side. The potatoes were perfect. Buttery to perfection. The prime rib melted in my mouth. The top sirloin was seasoned again, to perfection. The peppercorn sauce was ordered but barely even used as it was not needed. Topper it off with the sticky toffee pudding sundae. Wow. Not too sweet & a perfect ending to our meal. So happy we chose Chop for our NYE dinner.

    We tried this restaurant as we all thought great steakhouse. It was a work lunch so we were all polite and ate our steaks. After when I said wellwhat did you think, 2 said ok and 2 a smigde over cooked. I had new york Chicago medium, it looked on the outside exactly the same as the new york medium rare on the outside. Couldn't tell if mine was Chicago or his was. The trio of sauces were yummy and really helped the overcooked steak. Potatoes were great vegetables tasty but small portion. It was ok just not wow.

    Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. Our server (Aoife) was fantastic and so personable. Food was delicious!
