Chop was created for people who love connecting, sharing experiences, and everything steak. Proudly Canadian and minutes away from Toronto Pearson Airport, Chop Dixon Road is located in the heart of the hotel and convention district with ample free parking. Priding ourselves on creating "The Perfect Steak" from start to finish, Chop is committed to sustainable sourcing, choice cuts of fresh Canadian Beef, sourced from Canadian ranchers. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender.     We had dinner on a busy Saturday night to celebrate a birthday, and thankfully had a reservation — the line to be seated was long! Despite the crowd, the ambiance was great, and our server, Tishé, provided excellent service. She was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The menu had plenty of options beyond steaks, but we chose the ribeye, cooked to perfection as requested. The sides included a loaded baked potato, beets, and slightly undercooked green beans. Overall, it was a lively atmosphere with great service, and we appreciate how well the staff managed the busy night. We’ll definitely be back!

    Allocation of tables poor. Our reservation was for 7:30 pm, did not get our table until 7:50 pm, and only after we asked!!

    Saw the Butcher's choice online, but wasn't on the menu at the airport location, but the chef prepared it for us anyway...and we added lobster tails. It was amazing! The meat melted in your mouth as did the lobster. Will definitely be back.

    The food is pretty mid. Busy spot on a Saturday night to the point that we were asked to leave since "they need the table" quite quickly after paying a 300 dollar bill for 2. Typically if this was the case there'd be an offer to make you comfortable elsewhere but we were basically told to gtfo.

    Ambience, noise level, value and service were all good. In my opinion the quality of the filet I had was below expectations. It was cooked to order (medium rare) but the tenderness and flavour was not to the standard of a restaurant that essentially brands itself as a premium steakhouse. I’d rather pay a bit more and have a better grade of beef than what was served.
