   This was my first time trying West African food and it did not disappoint me! My waiter (Russell ) was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations I have the black Star and my date the Motherland. The suya was flavorful and tender (not a beef lover lol)

   Took my mom around 4pm on a Thursday. We were seated promptly. Sabrina was my server. She was very attentive. I asked for suggestions and her suggestions were great! The food was amazing, the restaurant and restrooms were clean as well. I will definitely be back soon..I enjoyed myself and so did my mom!

   This is our favorite restaurant in Houston. We cannot say enough great things about this restaurant, the food, the ambiance, the staff or the owner/chef!!!
