Celebrate Christmas Eve in true French style at Chouette. Our dinner menu will feature special holiday offerings available for this evening only, crafted by Chef Jacques Sorci. Enjoy a Roasted Butternut Squash Salad with Chioggia beets, shaved apples, crushed hazelnuts, and clementine vinaigrette; a rich Truffle Soup en Croute with root vegetables; Maine Lobster Thermidor with Sauterne sauce and rice pilaf; or Beef Tournedo Rossini with Hudson Valley foie gras, shallot confit sauce, and dauphinoise potatoes. End your meal with our Candied Chestnut Buche de Noel. Join us for a festive Christmas Eve filled with exquisite flavors and holiday cheer. Reservations are now open!

Our New Year’s Day menu features Lemon Curd Souffle Pancakes with mixed berry compote, a delicate Omelet filled with ratatouille and piperade sauce, accompanied by a fresh baby greens salad, and NY Steak & Eggs with frites and bearnaise sauce. For a truly indulgent start to the year, savor our Smoked Salmon Tarte Flambee with crème fraiche, salmon caviar, and lemon confit. The food was very good. The restaurant was cold and when we pointed this out to staff we were told it’s because we’re seated by a window. The entire downstairs was cold. We wore our coats throughout dinner. Our table location for a party of 5 was also very cramped. Small tables

Service is professional and friendly. We did a variety of sides but will go back to try the entrees. The French onion soup is filling so it’s best to share it. If you like garlic you’ll love the haricot vert. The Mac and cheese is delicious too. The sparkling water is made in house and is very different from anything I’ve ever had. Atmosphere is sophisticated and a bit loud if you are interested in having a conversation.

Went with a friend. Beautiful space though our table next to the staircase was quite tight and I kept having the back of my chair bumped as patrons and staff squeezed by. The food was mostly excellent. Only missed mark was the tepid and underwhelming French fries (oddly). Otherwise and very enjoyable meal enhanced by a delightful and competent server. Will return again.

Honestly, the food was good but it was not worth the price. Cocktails $18, French onion soup (which came out cold) $18 steak frites $62 dollars. You can get something just as good for a lot less.

The food was impressive, but the meal was incredibly rushed. Our entrees came flying out while we were still enjoying our first course. Alas my entree, on the second firing ( so they said) was over done and cold. We were barely up and out of our seats before they were clearing and resetting for the next service. I think this place has great potential, but they need to rethink the pace. I wish them luck!

Enjoyed my desserts (pear ice cream and chocolate mousse). My only critique is the chocolate mousse had too much stuff on it. I really want to enjoy the mousse….but to get to it I have to fight the sugared nuts! I appreciate the effort, but the toppings prevent my ability to experience the pure chocolate-ness of mousse-ness!LOL

This was my second time at the restaurant. The first time was great the second time, however, was disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be returning. In the months since my first visit, I feel that the quality of the food as well as the staff has declined.
