Chourangi,
A unique journey of the unexplored flavours of India, Celebrating over 300 years of Calcutta's historic cuisine. Enter a world of adventurous new ingredients, flavours and cooking method artfully curated by Chef turned restaurateur Anjan Chatterjee.
The appetizers-Prawn Cutlet, Calcutta Fish Fry, Welsh Lamb Chops, Nizam's Malai Tikka, Tangra Chilli Chicken and Lotus stem sweet potato Chaat and in the mains you our signature Tiger Prawn Malai Curry, Kosha Lamb, Chicken Chaap, Dak Bungalow Chicken Curry, Grand Trunk Black Dal and the Calcutta Style Biryanis are a must try.
We are at less than one minute's walk from Marble Arch Tube Station at 3, Old Quebec Street which intersects Oxford Street and Bryanston Street.
Inspired with natural rattan-stained furniture and cream walls, the decor captures the essence of architecture of Calcutta. Also has a lovely, cosy alfresco dining with heaters.
The result is a feast for the senses unlike any of you have ever experienced.

    Chourangi is a really fantastic, authentic restaurant which does not compromise on flavour, while keeping up with amazing presentation, service and ambience. It was our first time here, and definitely not the last! Amazing.. thank you!!

    The food is very good. Great service. Both are enhanced by a very chill ambiance with soft lighting and nice acoustics that help you enjoy conversation with your company while dining.

    Great food, well balanced spices. Especially enjoyed the paneer tikka, black dal and delightfully fluffy naan. The chicken curry was mild but very flavorful and the old fashioned was well made. My wife enjoyed the prawn curry a lot as well.The only minor improvement would be in the chicken malai kebab, which was bit bland.

    Chourangi almost lived up to its hype. We were a group of three, and two of us ordered lassi, which was disappointing. The fish fry was good but could have been better, especially considering the price, which felt a bit underwhelming. The prawn cutlets were outstanding and probably the highlight of our visit. Topping them off with Kasundi was the icing on the cake. Unfortunately, the chicken chaap was a letdown. While it had some traditional chaap flavors, the overall presentation and aftertaste were more reminiscent of Butter Chicken. The Kolkata lamb biryani, however, lived up to its name and transported us directly to Kolkata. The succulent lamb pieces and perfectly cooked biryani were a delight. We didn't order any desserts.

    I was there first time but according to there price the quantity of everything is very less i heard about this palace from some one but my experience was not good prices was very high but not provide quantity of food and also they add service charges after the bill . very sad
