Contemporary and colourful decor, friendly and attentive service. Spacious and not overcrowded even when busy provided a comfortable dining experience. We arrived early and were quickly accommodated. Sunday lunch was lovely (Lamb and Beef cooked perfectly), with extremely generous portions. Puddings (chocolate compote and sticky toffee pudding) were divine. Can’t wait to return in the summer with the dogs.

To describe this as just another gastro-pub would be doing it a huge injustice. The food and service is exceptional and would challenge many a top end restaurant. The fact that you can enjoy it in an informal and relaxed atmosphere is an added bonus.

Very quiet for a Saturday night, no atmosphere, food tasted good, but portions for 2 of the meals were tiny and not worth money paid. As for a chicken burger - never seen one where is some sandwich chicken in a bun. Highlight free dessert with candle for Birthday.

Popped in for a 2 course, alcohol free Sunday roast lunch after a morning's hard graft pruning of the laurel bushes. Curried cauliflower soup and fennel salad starters followed by 2 roast lamb roasts- all excellent. First class service from Martin and his team

First time here after driving past for many years. Very pleased we tried it Very welcoming, excellent service, good menu with plenty of choices, good prices. Food was all extremely tasty & well presented They had a good children’s menu. Food service was timely but not rushed. Great that water was constantly topped up. Can’t fault it, will be back. Thank you

Family Sunday roast lunch for 6: 4 roast sirloin , 1 roast pork with crackling & 1 roast lamb. They all came with mixed veg of mange toute, roast carrots and broccoli, plus roast pots, cauliflower cheese and large individual Yorkshire puddings and were of good quality and well cooked. This resulted in 6 empty plates. The service was friendly and efficient.
