Originally opened in 1991 in the heart of Covent Garden, Christopher’s has established itself as one of London’s best American restaurants, featured in Condé Nast, GQ, Tatler & Harper's Bazaar to name but a few. Comprising of three spaces that recall the heady-glamour of the Modern American era, Christopher’s brings you a Martini Bar on the ground floor, a glamorous Restaurant on the first floor and an intimate Club Room on the lower ground floor for private events. Housed in a Grade II listed building with an interesting past of its own, including opening in 1870 as London’s first licensed casino, Christopher's offers an extensive all day dining menu of Modern American cuisine. Weekend Brunch is also a specialty where healthy options are on offer alongside indulgent brunch favourites, including our signature french toast.

My wife and I went to Christopher’s for our evening meal. We had a delightful time together. The food was amazing all the staff were very friendly. There was a good amount of space between tables you didn’t feel you were being crammed in. There was music playing but you didn’t have to shout to be heard. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I’m not one to normally leave reviews but after visiting Christopher’s I really felt I had to. Simply put this was the nicest meal me and my girlfriend have ever eaten out. The food was top notch and very reasonably priced, the ambience was perfect and the staff could not do enough for you. I will definitely be recommending this to my family and friends and will come again. Thanks to the team at Christopher’s. See you soon.

I didn’t know what to expect for this last minute booking, but the brunch was fabulous! We enjoyed cocktails and waffles which were beautifully presented, delicious, light and fluffy but big enough to be really filling. Nice staff who served efficiently and with a great welcoming atmosphere. Definitely going back!!

The food was fantastic. We had the warm Brioche French toast which came with caramelised peaches and sweet Marscopone - this was absolutely delicious and the buttermilk pancakes which were super soft and fluffy. The receptionist downstairs and the one upstairs were very friendly and pleasant. Greeted us with a smile however the service after that was a let down. It was my partners birthday but they wrote "happy birthday" on my plate instead - which wasn't first a big deal but then after the food arrived, no one wanted to check if the food was all good and if we needed anything... The waiters were all standing at the tills yet no one could check in. It was quite difficult to get their attention even to get some extra milk for the tea. For a place that aims to be fine dining, the service wasn't up to par. The food tho, I wouldn't question their brunch options!

We ordered bread for starter and then main courses. Our main course came out 5 mins after our bread so we didn’t get to finish the bread . The pulled pork tacos were cold which we aren’t sure if they should have been. Starter and main course all served to us within 15 mins of arriving. The steak and chips were very nice I would just have preferred more time to be able to finish and digest the starter.

Enough variety in the menu to satisfy most people. Prices in line with that relatively expensive part of London eating
