The place looked lovely and was decorated well but that’s about it. If I could give zero stars then I would have as I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Firstly our mango lassi wasn’t sweet enough which our waiter rectified. Then the starters were a disaster. My family and I are great lovers of paneer. There was only one paneer starter which was the Wasabi sesame paneer. Wasabi is not popular within our family, therefore, we requested if the chef can make a paneer dish without the Wasabi sauce to which the waiter said we are very busy tonight and the chef will not be able to make us an alternative paneer dish. I was very appalled by the reason given, however, we decided to select a handful of starters which included the avocado chaat, tokri chaat, mango Baji, two portions of vegetable samosas. The avocado chaat had no avocado whatsoever, the tokri chaat didn’t taste nice and then the samosas…. They were so small and the worse part was that they hadn’t even been cooked properly, the filling was cold and the peas were still frozen! When we mentioned this to the waiter, he told us the peas can’t be frozen as are cooked freshed, however, he then quickly changed his common to say yes they are frozen but all cooked properly. This was so disappointing as they couldn’t even get the basics of cooking samosas right. The selection of chutneys we were provided with were mango, mint and chopped onions. unfortunately, the mint chutney had a fly in it. When this was mentioned to the waiter, he took it away and came back with some more mint chutney, however, he failed to even apologise for what we had witnessed. Value for money was rubbish and the dishes tasted unpleasant. This was not an authentic Indian restaurant at all. We came out for dinner for my dad’s 75th birthday so very disappointed and annoyed with our experience. Thank God we decided to leave after our starters and ended up getting pizza which was delicious lol. Please avoid this place!!!!!
