Ciao Italian Restaurant is a family owned restaurant. We refuse to cut corners on our food. We search the market daily to find the freshest available local ingredients. All of our chicken stock, veal stock, and sauces are made fresh daily. Our food is all made from scratch and we cook to order, and its easy to accommodate any food allergies our special diets. Our Mama's meatballs, lasagna, marinara sauce, and our house made mozzarella are recipes that are passed down through the generations. We try to maintain a very friendly, cozy and happy feel to our restaurant. we ant you to feel like you are having a meal at one of your family's house. While we want to remain family friendly we also provide you with a restaurant that also has a romantic feel. Much of the same as the Tratorias of Italy. While we maintain a high level of service we like to keep it relaxed so that you can feel comfortable.

This place is outstanding. We've been to Ciao many times and will go many more times. We refuse to miss visiting Ciao when in Myrtle Beach. Period.

Service, wine and food (quality and quantity) were all very good. Being a Birthday Dinner, was disappointed that Ciao’s did not at least offer a complimentary Birthday dessert to my wife. Also, was somewhat surprised that there was an 11.5% tax on both food and on bar drinks. Guess this is a Myrtle Beach city tax issue aimed at tourist.

The food at Ciao’s is always top shelf and Shawn is an awesome waiter. He’s attentive, informative and friendly. We love going to Ciao’s to celebrate special occasions.

The food was good and our waiter was helpful and made our experience great.I definitely recommend and will go back next time in the area.

Our food was delicious but our server was a bit lacking and I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and nothing was said or done. We were a bit disappointed.

We’re new to the area and have been trying different restaurants and this was a find! From the bread with the dipping oil, the octopus appetizer to our main course to dessert was just outstanding. Our server Jason was great, very knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations. It was a home run for us.

Excellent food & service. Christmas eve dinner lamb special with sweet potatoes & asparagus was delicious. Our go to restaurant for a great meal.

Sean was a great server. Food was outstanding. We had calamari, chicken, Parmesan, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything came out in a non-rushed fashion tasting hot and delicious. When I used a gift card, I did not know I could not leave a tip on there. Also, from a previous receipt that I received at this restaurant I had a five dollar coupon from Clover that the restaurant does not honor. That’s kind of weird. But it was a great experience and we will be back. Thank you.
