CIEL Restaurant and Lounge offers an elegant mix of modern Japanese and French cuisines complemented by craft cocktails and a curated wine and champagne list. CIEL, meaning ‘sky’ in French, is inspired by vibrant restaurants of the French Riviera and brings an elevated and festive dining experience to Houstonians.

We have been there many times and this time it appears the overall experienced dropped 3 notches. Music was very loud compared to other times, the disc jockey was more untuned with himself and not watching the crowd. Music selection was weak compared to the ambiance.

Made reservations for 9:15pm didn’t get service till 9:40pm had to speak with the manager, ended up leaving overall not bad a place with good ambiance, just poor service

I went with my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and the last time I went there on a busy night the waiter told us we had to get a $300 bottle for it to come with a show so I get a bottle and the waiter tells me I need to spend $500 on one bottle even though it was my birthday . Was super disappointed the service wasn’t as good as the previous time I went there and didn’t feel special at all here on a birthday. Was completely let down by the service with food and my bottle.

Food was good but not worth the price. Server forgot to bring a drink, bread for the table, and ordered appetizers incorrectly so we had to wait to receive most of what was missing until we were almost done eating. Vibe is nice, shows are every 30-40 mins but very short.

Ciel Restaurant never disappoints! Booking a reservation is incredibly convenient, and they make the process so smooth. The customer service is consistently top-tier, with staff who are attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about ensuring you have a great experience. The food? Simply amazing — every dish is thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The ambiance is also fantastic; the energy in this place is vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for any occasion. Highly recommend!

They sat us by the front door where staff and patrons bumped into our chairs every 2 minutes. After 15 minutes I’m not getting service. I went to the front desk to inquire about a server five minutes later a waitress showed up.. needless to say we left due to the poor service that we received that had a racist undertone. I was celebrating my birthday and they ensured that I didn’t feel special!!
