Major kitchen issues in VIP theatre - do not rely here to eat main meal. We made a reservation for 5 pm; movie was at 6:15 pm. Arrived and were seated promptly; not busy at all. Ordered drinks but they were out of lime so about one third of the drinks were not available. Ordered food - after waiting over 35 minutes, found out they were out of romaine and so no taco salad. Only found out because our server went to see why our food was taking so long. So ended up having to order a completely different meal 45 minutes after we first ordered which was concerning because first meals had still not arrived and now we weren’t sure if they were being prepared together. We had also ordered an appetizer but it took over 40 minutes to arrive and that was only after I asked where it was (appeared they were preparing it with main meals?). At 5:45, server said they would bring our food to our seats. We said we wanted to eat in restaurant before movie (that had been the whole point of the reservation to have a more substantial meal beforehand and then snacks in our seats). At 5:55, still no food and again they said would deliver to our seats. We asked to cancel our meals as we were ready to go into theatre. This was about 6:05. Drinks were also very slow (10-20 minutes each time). Got into theatre - there were plenty of servers around but it was clear the kitchen was struggling - food was not coming out and missing key ingredients for many items. No communication between kitchen and wait staff who were simply saying kitchen was backed up. Was NOT busy when we got there. We ended up leaving the VIP theatre to order our own movie food and drinks. Then the food still came to our seats after it was cancelled. We sent it back. Then duplicate drinks showed up. Our server Amy in the dining room was lovely, but it was abundantly clear that the person or people running the kitchen are not doing their job, don’t know how to stock a kitchen, communicate or prioritize orders.
