At City House in Nashville, TN, James Beard Award winning Chef Tandy Wilson makes an amazing array of dishes to pair up with the enormous array of artisan cocktails, wine and bourbon or whiskey choices available. A popular Sunday Supper gives a unique dining experience, but many come for the regular dinner menu.

The dinner choices at City House include starters like frico, pork snacks, and seasonal salads. There are handmade pizzas with traditional toppings and more Southern inspired choices like belly ham or kale. The entrees are just as seasonal and include dishes like the local trout, hand made pastas, and wood oven roasted meats. Wilson tops blistered pie crusts coming out of the woodfired oven with the likes of house pork belly ham or local and seasonal veggies, plus ensures there's very little food waste in dishes such as bread gnocchi with cauliflower ragu that uses up leftover pizza crust. Don't miss the fun bartender guest stars who ensure plenty of good bourbon flows through the wide open kitchen and dining room.

Come celebrate the 90 years of life of our beloved chef Jacques Pépin at City House on March 3rd for a once in a life time menu. Tandy Wilson will be teaming up with Margot McCormack for a 4-course tasting menu served Family Style. 90 chefs from around the country will be cooking dinners like this to help raise funds for the Jacques Pépin Foundation, which changes lives through culinary education.

Absolutely delicious food, loved the sweet potatoes more than I would have ever imagined, and everyone so friendly! We had to order three desserts because it was too hard to choose and they surpassed all expectations!

A wonderful evening with friends! I just love this gem with its gentle city ambience, gorgeous plates of food and incredible desserts. A great place for a regular dining spot. Xo

Every dish we ordered had unusual, subtle flavor combinations. The mozzarella cheese was gorgeous. Our server listened to what we wanted and gave us helpful information to make decisions. For example, my granddaughter asked if they had affogato on the menu and she said no but we have espresso and coconut sorbet. It was delicious!

Phenomenal service and food. They were extremely accommodating and provided an excellent experience for our large group. Our server was fantastic. He recommend the best dishes for us to try out.

Excellent staff, tasty food but the service area in our eating area was a jumble, untidy and an eyesore. Clearly an afterthought - the service area detracted from the experience.

Consistently one of the best restaurants in Nashville. We enjoyed the fresh mozzarella, corn cake with radicchio, cat fish, chicken with pin wheel pasta, gnocchi and two fabulous desserts. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

We have tried to get back into City House many times, but we could never get a reservation. So I made a reservation two months in advance and got in! It was EVERY BIT as good as we remembered. The service and the food are absolutely outstanding. We ordered bottle of wine, so it was an expensive night. But it wouldn't have to be too costly if you weren't drinking. We ordered both the cabbage salad and the mozzarella salad. I don't know how they can be that good. The cabbage salad is unbelievably flavorful, and we actually asked for the recipe for the dressing - and they gave it to us! My husband and I each got pizza's and they were outstanding. I got the mushroom and fennel pizza. It was fantastic. We ended the night splitting the panna cotta, which was also excellent. Our server was friendly and very attentive and helpful, without being overbearing. He really made it a delightful evening. We decided we're just going to start making reservations a couple months in advance so we can get back to City House several times a year. It's just too good not to go back soon!

Do not really give reviews all that much but after going to City House on and off for over 10 years, last's night meal was one of the best I have had anywhere in Nashville this past year.
