Our friendly environment is ideal for celebrating special occasions, hosting a business lunch or gathering for a delicious meal with friends and family. Our saloons are a comfortable gathering place to relax after a day at work, to catch a game or share an appetizer with friends. The saloon menu features signature cocktails, chilled martinis, premium and ultra-premium spirits, specialty non-alcoholic beverages, an extensive wine list, and imported and American craft beers including Claim Jumper’s own Honey Blonde, Original Red Ale and IPA. In addition to the saloon menu Claim Jumper offers a Steakhouse menu which includes USDA Prime steaks and premium house made shareable sides. Open daily for lunch and dinner, Claim Jumper offers a selection of freshly prepared items using only the finest ingredients available. Favorites include Certified Angus Beef®, fresh fish, baby back pork ribs, fresh baked pot pie, specialty salads, pasta, sandwiches, burgers and more.

                I was disappointed with our dinner experience there because I was basing it on my times at the La Mesa location, now closed. Being at the Embarcadero (tourist area), it’s was a bit more pricey, and no salad bar which is why I wanted to go there. They completely forgot to read my reservation notes telling them it was my wife’s birthday dinner, so no surprise dessert for her. Bummer. I found the entrees we had to be average, and the trip-tip was not the best considering it was supposed to be a ‘signature’ meal and not worth $21. Their gluten free options were very limited, though the online menu boasts many on it. About the highlight of the evening were the crispy potatoes skins that were really good. I will not be returning anytime soon and rather go to my local hole-in-the-wall dive for a better meal. The service was good and our waitress was very friendly, nice and accommodating.

                The food was delicious and our server, Who Edna, was very personable and provided outstanding service! Also very appreciative that Claim Jumper participates in recognizing Veterans and giving them a great meal too!

                The service and hospitality was absolutely outstanding. We were greeted upon arrival with the hosts , and our server was absolutely amazing. The food was hot which is great however , the vegetables came with the ends of the zucchini , which is not edible and the chicken fried steak completely came out of its casing and had a fishy taste to it like it was fried in the same oil as fish . Preferred the previous batter I believe more like a fried chicken batter. The veggies did have nice flavor , gravy was delicious and the bread was amazing .

                It was Veterans Day and Clam Jumper was very busy since they offered a free meal to veterans. There was a line when we entered, but the hostess quickly seated everyone in less than two minutes. Kudos to the hostess. The food we ate was hearty comfort food. I had the meatloaf, and my husband had chicken-fried steak. Both came with mashed potatoes and winter vegetables. Our waiter quickly greeted us and took our orders. The food was great. It's always a nice time at Clam Jumper.

                Wide variety of menu items and cocktails. We were there early so we had good service. When we were leaving, there was a line waiting even though there were plenty of empty tables so they must be understaffed

                We Celebrated my Wife's Birthday lunch at Claim Jumper on the Exterior Deck. If was a Fantastic Experience.
