   Service was spectacular! Dinner was delicious. All six enjoyed their meals and everything was served hot. Only issue was one piece of overcooked mahi-mahi but it did not stop us from enjoying ourselves. Salads were fresh and tasty. Will definitely return.

   calamari appetizer: needed to be breaded much more. soft and chewy. sauces could not adhere to each bite. marinara sauce lacked seasoning. garlic aoli, however, was very flavorful and savory. by far the worst value calamari I've had in Dayton/Cincinnati when you consider the amount of calamari being presented vs quality of preparation vs price point. shrimp diavlo: overall lacked flavor. could have used something more flavorful like basil instead of spinach. very generous on shrimp, cooked perfectly. your basic restaurant dish where the chefs rely on the spicyness of the dish to outweigh any amount of seasonings the dish desperately needed. pescatore: absolutely fantastic dish. if anything will bring us back to this restaurant, it will be knowing that you can spend $30 and still get a dish that reflects that amount spent. wait staff was friendly and the ambiance was pleasant. some older folks were getting rowdy at the bar, but otherwise, the noise level was as expected.

   This was our first time dining at the restaurant. Club Oceano’s owes us nothing. The food was very good and our waiter Jason was very well versed in all of the food choices and options. My wife raved about how fresh her salad was. She has previously worked in the restaurant industry and said she has never had anything better anywhere. We are very impressed and will be returning to dine there again. Kudos!!

   We might have been 1 of 3 tables seated in the restaurant (which was at great and probably to be expected at 3pm on a Wednesday). Server was great, food was fantastic and speedy, drinks were on point! Definitely going to come back.

    Wonderful experience!! Great food! 10/10. We really enjoyed our time. They are quite understaffed which is a downside but still great food and nice people.
