We are located on the famous promenade called The Strand, we have a convenient passenger drop off area right outside our front doors! Unload the kids and Grandparents prior to easy access parking across the street.

We have visited Cobb&Co Rotorua every time we are up from Wellington - the service and food is exceptional. We are always amazed at how great the experience is. Unfortunately our visit to Tauranga did not replicate the same standard that we are now accustomed to with the Cobb&Co brand - the macaroni was bland and floury, you could not taste the cheese, the mash that accompanies the chicken Alexander was grainy and under mashed, my grandfather was unable to order the lambs fry which is surprising given our early booking on Friday evening. The first waiter showed us to our seats and after 5mins asked us for our drinks order but there was no drinks menu on our table - this is more attention to detail. We are only providing this feedback as it’s the only way to improve. Apart from an underwhelming experience and a poor taste in our mouths we will be back. Andrew R

Great atmosphere friendly staff great childrens play area and kids combo deals the main course apricot chicken was very underwhelming and did not taste great at all for the price the sauce was cheaply made and there was way too much of it on the plate you could barley taste anything else the food does not seem high quality or fresh which is a let down considering the amazing atmosphere

Overall we had a good evening, however when our meals were served our 4 year old dropped his meat pattie out of his burger onto the floor. I asked for another meat pattie to be brought to us and we were pleasantly surprised when a whole new burger came. I assumed, due to this fact, that it must have been free but found we were charged. I was happy to pay for another pattie but not a whole burger which was $14.50.

My husband & I ate there for my 50th birthday. The food was fabulous, although the waitress was unsure as to which of us was having their birthday (even though I was the only one drinking - hubby was designated driver). Great warm, welcoming atmosphere, nice & toasty in the middle of winter.

Waiting staff leant over customers to serve guests on the other side of the table, rather than taking 6 steps to go around the table(frequently). Chips dry-refried maybe, not light and tasty. Beef Schnitzel tough- not tasy. Dont think it was freshly made on site. Fish very good. Childrens meals also good. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Welcomed 😊 Waitress was pleasant nervous at times as kept checking if my partner and I were enjoying your meals. On the 4th time of being asked whether we were enjoying. As we're asked about the food. I said not the greatest as Pork quality was fatty and vegetables were not cooked through. The starter was very nice. My meal was tasty. Asking of 4 tlmes whether we were happy was a little over the top within 10 minutes.

The food was great, service was excellent and a very short wait for food. However we had two servers who asked us every question twice at different intervals which was mildly annoying
