Hola! Cocina is a place where amigos gather to share a delicious Mexican meal in a fun, vibrant, modern setting, situated in the heart of Telford. We provide our customers with a modern take on classic Mexican recipes such as tacos and burritos; while not forgetting the ever popular burger which we’ve given a Mexican makeover. Left feeling hungry, upset but without spending a penny. Many because it shutdown with no notice before my booking

Had a very enjoyable evening at Cocina Telford. The staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. The food was excellent with a good selection of dishes and good value. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed and the background music was at just the right volume to enjoy a conversation without struggling to hear what was being said. Look forward to visiting again soon.

My partner and I decided to visit Cocina for the first time for a date night. It was a Saturday night so I booked a table just too make sure we could get in. When we got there we were greeted by a really friendly girl who asked if either of us had any special dietary needs (which i do) so straight away i felt really comfortable and knew i would eat well. We sat down and i had a whole menu to myself, something I’m really not used too, so I was spoilt for choice. Decided on the portobello mushroom fajitas and my boyfriend had the cocina chicken burger. Food came really quickly, was piping hot and was actually really tasty! Loved the homemade guacamole and salsa, was a huge hit! Just as we were finishing our food a large, quite loud party was seated next to us, which is fine, it was just a group celebrating a birthday but due to my anxiety we had to leave quite quickly because I felt uncomfortable and didn’t want to have a panic attack. Maybe going on a Saturday night wasn’t the best idea for me but will definitely go back! Every member of staff that served us was very nice and polite, and like I said, the food was delicious!

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Explained menu and checked we were ready for next course rather than just rolling it out. Food was hot and portion sizes were good, food was not as flavoured / spiced or spicy as we had assumed it would be. Booking online was simplistic. Thank you.

I would recommend Cocina but the service was sloooooow and the place felt very newly opened up as no one really seemed to know what they were doing. The staff are young so that brings its own problems; the tables are small so we ordered 5 tapas dishes for two people and couldn’t fit all the dishes plus plates on the table so ended up putting dishes on the floor - no ideal! The spice doesn’t pack a punch which is a shame at a ‘mexican’ and the mocktails were very non existent really, a virgin mojito was just crushed ice with lemonade and a sprig of mint and the passion fruit mocktail was orange juice and lemonade. Nice place but wouldn’t go back in a hurry.....

The food was average not a lot of choose on the menu in fact 6 mains. The decor has no imagination what do ever considering it's a Mexican restaurant. Wouldn't recommend at all.

A lovely waitress served us, she was very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing as always, although I had the pulled chicken burrito before and it was so good, shame it’s gone from the menu. But the food was brilliant and we love the atmosphere in there. Drinks are really nice. It’s definitely one of my favourite places in Southwater.

Food was average and over priced. £6 for one tiny tappas portion and £3 for a few chips. Although the server was friendly, the service was poor. Overall an experience I won't be repeating. Completely overpriced. Sorry
