Cognoscenti is a cosy neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar nestled in the Dandenong Ranges, 50 minutes from the CBD.

Dine with us and be treated to exquisite food and intimate service, while exploring our carefully curated selection of local and international wines. We are passionate about cooking with local, seasonal produce in our wood-fired oven; celebrating the simplicity of each ingredient.

    This restaurant delivers every single time we visit. The food and service are exceptional while the cocktails and baked cheese cake are heavenly. For a relaxing enjoyable evening with superb food you cannot go past Cognoscenti.

    First time at Cognoscenti, food was divine! Loved the place, if we had to pick anything that was not quite so perfect was that there wasn’t enough asparagus in our entree. Having said that, the entree was still delicious! Highly recommend, we will be back!

    The staff were wonderful and the food was divine. Super helpful getting us in early, staff were super friendly/helpful. They made our 10yr anniversary special, we are so glad we had dinner here tonight.

    Each meal and mouthful was a beautiful experience, it is in the higher end of price, but in all honesty you pay for amazing food the flavours literally dance on your pallet. Incredible. Our service was on point the wait staff were perfect.
