    The BEST food I’ve had in Savannah! OMG…everything was just delicious! I had the grilled pineapple with Mahi Mahi and we shared apple cobbler dessert with salted caramel. I really wanted to lick that plate! YUMMY!

    Food was delicious, I enjoyed their shrimp and grits! The portions size was too small for $23. But delicious non the fact. My husband enjoyed the oysters and the server was very polite and friendly.

    Food and drinks were amazing. We went to celebrate my mom’s 73 birthday and the waitress went over the top for us. When my brother surprised her by joining us, they saw our excitement and brought us champagne as a birthday gift/celebration. Highly recommend and couldn’t thank them more for making this a night to remember!

    The Common Restaurant is a nice spot to dine. The only issue was the service was a bit slow. I believe a manager was trying to train staff while customers were waiting.

    We have dined here many times and the last three times we were disappointed in the service. Our young lady was very nice and friendly this time and was overseated. Someone finally came and offered us water. Took quite a while to get cocktails. She was very accommodating as was the kitchen to customize the pineapple situation.took forever to get wine. Halfway finished with entree. Decided to not order another glass. Paid check and went to chive where we were recognized and greeted immediately And we haven’t even been there as often as the common. Seems Like since change of management or chef service has deteriorated. After last time we said we wouldn’t go back but did thinking it wouldn’t happen again. Three strikes. You’re out. Server was good. Just no apparent floor management running and helping servers or bartenders

    Common has become our go to place for Sunday Brunch. The menu is not long but plenty of choices to capture that breakfast desire or that lunch desire. And their cocktails are spot-on. We have had great experiences and look forward to many more.

    We reserved the Wine Manager’s Private Tour prior to dinner, and it was fabulous! Shawn is so enthusiastic and it is contagious, as he describes their extensive wine inventory. Our food was fantastic! We had the Short Rib Ravioli and Pasta Fattoria, and finished with the Hazelnut Indulgence. Our server, Alexis is also a sommelier and helped us choose one of Shawn’s Hidden Gems to pair with our meals. We love the atmosphere. It was a perfect evening! We will definitely return on our next visit to Savannah.

    Food and service were excellent. The atmosphere is very attractive. A little noisy but that’s a minor complaint as everything else made for a first class experience. Highly recommend it and we will be back!
