Step into COMPA, here the servings are generous and
the atmosphere is effortlessly sophisticated. It feels
instantly familiar. Descending into the space is like giving
an old friend a long overdue hug.

For Matt Moran’s ACT debut - antipasto, pasta and charcoal
dishes bring a touch of Tuscany to your table. As with all
his establishments, at the heart of his menu is quality
produce that is fresh, seasonal and locally sourced.
COMPA is built on a simple, often forgotten pairing: good

    I booked it because it got 5 starts in the reviews and it didn't disappoint. It was a Valentine's dinner with my girlfriend and we both thought the food was 10 out of 10, venue was great and central, staff were really friendly and provided service with a smile. Highly recommend it :)

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Compa, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The menu is a perfect blend of creativity and tradition, offering dishes that are both comforting and innovative. We started with the wide variety of entrees, which were beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. For the main course, the sirloin on the bone was an absolute showstopper cooked on the rare side, seasoned to perfection, and paired with the most delightful sides. Beyond the food, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, offering excellent recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. To top it all off, the dessert was simply divine. We tried the raspberry semifreddo, and it was the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal. If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers on every level—delicious food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Compa is the place to be. I can’t wait to return!

    A good restaurant. Just too much food. The meat was a bit tough and not cooked enough. The price is too much given what was provided; not good value for money.

    First time eating at Compa, wasn't too bad overall for a competitor steak house to Meat and Wine Co. Slightly over priced though in oir opinion, especially when considering the steaks consist of only four options.

    My girlfriend and I went here on a date night and ordered the tasting menu. The food was excellent, especially the sirloin, and the service was very good. We will be coming back here again.

    Staff were very friendly and helpful. The resteraunt itself had a lovely hum and wasn’t too hectic. The lighting and table setting was beautiful.

    Food is excellent but unfortunately the service was terrible. We waited almost an hour for our main meals whilst all around us were served in a timely fashion. No toilet paper in the loos was also a disappointment. We have been to other Matt Moran restaurants and have always been impressed. Thus one needs some serious attention

    Music! Loud and not required! The staff turned it down when requested but my wife and I when to celebrate a few things and we didn’t need music playing. It is not a rock concern.
