Goodstone Inn offers two unique dining experiences on 265 acres of rolling hillside and farmland in beautiful Middleburg, VA.

Please take note of your reservation date and time, as the Bistro and Conservatory have differing hours of operation. To view our current menu, please visit www.Goodstone.com.

The Conservatory at Goodstone is an elegant Fine Dining experience offering upscale Contemporary American cuisine focusing on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Tasting Events and memorable Dinner Experiences are scheduled throughout the year.

The Conservatory is open for dinner Wednesday - Sunday from 5 - 9 pm. Guests 14 and older are welcome to dine with us.

                                  My partner and I each selected a five-course dinner option from a wide-ranging menu of about 20 options. Each course was exquisitely prepared and we had a personal visit from the chef to answer any questions we had about food preparation or special needs. This ranked with one of the top meals I have ever had, both nationally and internationally. The price, with wine, for two was in the $500 range with tip, but the service, ambiance, and food made this special birthday occasion well worth it. I have no regrets. This is a place where one gets what one pays for. Simply superb!!

                                  The Conservatory is a special place to celebrate a special event. For us, it was a wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been better. The staff was helpful with the menu as well as knowledgeable about the wines (we chose to do the wine pairing with the meal).

                                  New chef’s tasting menu only, no longer offering ala carte, is exorbitantly expensive. We eat out often at very nice restaurants, was shocked by the bill. Very few reasonably priced wine options either..

                                  Amazing country setting. Great experience at the bar before dinner. Service in the dining room was spectacular. Food was good to great, but uneven. Bread, salads & scallops were superb; lobster and duck were very good (but not outstanding; both fairly bland); dessert (carrot cake) was particularly disappointing (not fresh (clearly NOT made that day), and ice cream was almost bitter in taste), but petit fours before we left were delicious. But overall, a great experience. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

                                  Overall very good. Service was outstanding. The only reason we're giving 4 stars for food was because I had to send the lamb chops back to be cooked; they arrived tartar, which I didn't like. When they came back, they hadn't been cooked any more, despite the promise they would be cooked better. My husband ended up eating them because I didn't want to send them back a second time. Maybe the chef was insulted, but really, some of us don't like practically raw meat and these were barely cooked. Not sure why this was a miss.

                                  Very unimpressive. I have enjoyed fine dining all over the world. I expected more with these prices. Beware, certain experiences are not available after a certain hour. It would have been good to know that before hand. The food was very basic, limited menu, poor execution. Good luck finding the restaurant, no signs. It was not a night to remember.
