Located in Midtown East, Copinette, which means “Girlfriend” in French, offers an American cuisine with French influence. We invite you to dine in our relaxed and refined dining room with feminine touches and beautiful chandeliers. Our menu is full of flavor offering classic dishes with our Copinette finesse.     Food is good you can tell the owner and chef put a lot of detail and thought into it. Giving the service a pass because as someone in the restaurant industry I don’t think they expected it to be so busy. You can tell owner cares a lot about the restaurant. He should be proud because his place is fantastic. Also the drinks are so delicious. I highly recommend, your taste buds will thank you later:)

    Appetizers are great. We had scallops and octopus. The Brussels sprouts as a side is burnt and really perhaps should have a different preparation as they were alittle soggy. The service is solid and the place is cute. Prices are fair. Entree pasta we ordered was salmon with truffle burrata in red sauce. It needs to be reimagined because salmon and truffle burrata don’t match at all. The red sauce was too liquid so the pasta was a little soggy. My fault for choosing a fussy dish. Peach Melba is excellent as are cocktails.

    The place is a neighborhood jam, the food and service are always reliable and the owner Andrew is friendly and welcoming! It’s consistently an enjoyable dining experience.

    Very nice atmosphere and a menu that would satisfy most palates. The atmosphere was quite nice with a three-piece band providing nice background music. The negatives were rather nice but indifferent weight staff and the food was ordinary.

    I met a work colleague from out of town and his wife here for a late Sunday lunch. Nice comfortable atmosphere. The staff made the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us time to relax and chat. The chicken Caesar salads were tasty and fresh, and the burger was juicy (and disappeared quickly!). Our cappuccinos were beautifully foamy and delicious. All in all, my guests were impressed and very happy that I recommended Copinette, and so was I!

    The food in the service were great. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants. This is definitely a good one and I would definitely return.
