Copper & Sage excels at the unexpected. From traditional Southern dishes to innovative creations, Chef Evon Profitt has designed his menu to satisfy every palate. Indulge in dishes like our Cast Iron Duck or our house-made tagliatelle with Italian sausage & kale in a lemon cream sauce.

We offer an array of handhelds such as our Pork Belly Tacos with kimchi, fresno chiles & sriracha aioli, or dive into one of our smashburgers or our angus/duroc blend patti with gruyere and trumpet/maitake mushrooms.

On the weekends, we brunch hard with plates like the Monte Cristo or our Cast Iron Hash featuring cubed sirloin and a medley of the good stuff.

Overall very good; I am very likely to return. Like my prior visit, the staff were very attentive and accommodating. Some of the food fell short of expectations. Wife’s filet mignon was very good. However, my NY strip steak was disappointing. The meat was good, but there was significant amount of gristle. Second, it was served with “frites” (more commonly known as “fries”), and they were grease and overly crisp. Third, no vegetable or salad included. It would work for a $30 steak, but misses on a $45 steak. (Worth noting a nearby table had the steak and did not get the gristle.) Another peculiarity, the plates were flat, no contour or edge. The led to the fries and steak continually falling off the plate and onto the table. The plates would work extremely well for very elegant plating, with something like filet mignon in the center and little or nothing more. The pile of fries with steak on top did not work. I enjoyed the Frey Ranch Hand mixed drink; bourbon with lemon, honey and bitters. The bourbon was well concealed, but I would have preferred to get more of that taste. The presumed manager apologized for the shortcomings, and discounted a portion of the meal.

This is our 3rd time dining at Copper and Sage in Goodyear, and we are so happy to have this restaurant here. The food and service are the stars here. The manager has always come around and taken time to chat with us. We mentioned that the lights were bright, and he dimmed them a minute later. It made the place seem so much more intimate and more like fine dining. The layout is different than any restaurant we've ever seen. The separate areas each have a different decor and a very different feel. We prefer the booths and high-tops than the open area up front. Food has consistently been very good. Staff have been attentive and pleasant. We plan to go back and try the brunch. It's great to have a restaurant of this caliber in our city. This will be a staple.

Fantastic food and a great setting. We decided to try it out for the first time on Saturday and arrived at 4 pm to a fairly empty restaurant. The food was great, and the service was on point. We had the Pork Belly Tacos, Bourbon Deviled Eggs, Mac & Cheese, and a Catfish PoBoy. All were great tasting and perfectly prepared. When we left the place was full and so were we.

First time visit. Greeted and seated promptly. Great menu selections: brunch and lunch. We were there at lunchtime on a Saturday. Server Michelle was friendly and helped us make selections. We had 4 sharables: Brussels Sprouts, chicken wings, calamari and fried green tomatoes. Our fav was the Brussels Sprouts, calamari and chicken wings. The fried green tomatoes were nicely presented and crispy, just not to our liking. But we did eat all 6 slices. A very nice add to our community. We plan on having brunch next weekend.

First time trying this restaurant. Ambiance and service was very good. A bit noisy due to the hard wall surfaces and subsequent reverberation of sound. The tacos, the mussels and the scallops were delicious. Unfortunately my wife selected the salmon and it was terrible - no flavor and both tasted and smelled “fishy”. She should have sent it back.

I did make a reservation. Arrived on time and was taken to my table upon arrival. The host was professional. My sever Alexis was friendly and during the meal checked in with me to make sure things were good. Sat outside it as a cool night but they had heaters on so it was perfect. Live music it was not too loud. Suggestion, they should plant some herbs in their planters.

Nice new restaurant in our area. We went Monday night and it was noisy, can’t imagine what it would be like on a weekend. We did have some friends that went on a weekend and commented on how loud it was. I’m amazed that being a brand new place they didn’t figure out some better noise reduction system.

At the last minute we had to bring our baby and they were very accommodating to change our table and put us in a great place to enjoy our dinner. The food was great and healthy. We will be back.
