Brought to you by Award Winning Chef Michael Chiarello and located at Pier 5 on the bustling San Francisco Waterfront, Coqueta is inspired by the cuisines of Spain. Chef Chiarello feels that Spain’s signature ‘small plates’ coupled with the social vibrancy of their dining scene is the perfect combination for San Francisco, which has its own deep-rooted history with the country. Focusing on regional dishes from Madrid, Catalonia, the Basque Country and beyond, the menu will feature Chiarello's interpretation of traditional Spanish cuisine and, as has always been his tradition, will highlight the bounty of fresh, local ingredients from land and sea.

Coqueta means “flirt” or “infatuation” in Spanish, and represents Michael Chiarello and his team’s exploration and interpretation of Spanish Cuisine, wine and inspired cocktails, while highlighting the bounty of Northern California.

We have eaten at Coqueta several times over the years. Excellent, modern Spanish food at its best. What made this particular visit so special was our server Nikolas. A very knowledgeable and friendly guy. Can’t say enough about Nikolas. Coqueta is not a cheap Place to eat, but the combination of excellent food, outstanding service and a beautiful location makes for a great outing!

Coqueta never disappoints! As always, every bite is a treat! Our favorite dish is probably huevos roto but truly, everything was wonderful.

This was our third visit to Coqueta spanning 10 years and once again it was a dining adventure. If I had anything critical to say it was that the tables would not accommodate more than a few tapas courses at a time. Otherwise the dishes were each special. For us the standouts were the duck/pork meatballs and the mushroom platter. The flan for dessert was a complementary birthday special

Our service and food was amazing. We loved our waiter and he helped us with the ordering. It was such an awesome experience.

We had a wide selection of tapas and pintxos in addition to drinks and dessert with coffee. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. All of it really took us back to dining in Barcelona. The waiter was friendly, helpful, and appropriately attentive throughout our meal.

We had a fantastic time, Sangria was great, appetizers delicious , Patatas Bravas , grill octopus, croquetas , main dish Paella amazing . Dessert spectacular . Our waitress was amazing great service, environment great , been in other Spanish restaurant but Coqueta is on my # one restaurants! Thank you everyone who works there!!

I've been a long time fan of Coqueta, but hadn't visited in several years. Two of us shared several dishes. Everything was authentic (I was with a spaniard!), tasty and the service was excellent. Only complaint, the wine pour was very light!
